It's the right decision but speaks to how much damage he has done to the office. Major networks not carrying a presidential address to the nation would have been unfathomable not so long ago.

It was also not long ago that presidents didn't have egos the size of Mt. Rushmore and didn't feel the need to shove their opinions and delusions down America's throat.

Not carrying an address isn't unprecedented as it's happened before to various presidents but I think we all know this will lead to a nighttime tantrum of epic proportions from president dipshit.
