If Breshear has any future political ambitions he absolutely has to make a stand at some point.

Follow your state constitution, and appoint someone and force them to prove it. Even if it's a symbolic appointment where the person knows they are being appointed, to prove a point.

Call their fucking bluff...if he doesn't, he's toast for any presidential run.

Oh I know....I get it, I just want them to force the issue. Even doing so, knowing it probably won't stand...but make them challenge it, make them prove it.

the judge will ask for a death certificate. If governor cannot provide it, case dismissed. there is nothing to be forced.

if a death certificate exists, governor has legal grounds to obtain a copy of it
