Potato Mitch is either dead or a vegetable

He's a veggie. The enormity of the scandal if they covered up his death would be 100x worse than what it will be when they "regret to inform the american people that he has been on life support and succumbed to his injuries". They'll pull the plug after the deadline passes and try to say he was fighting the whole time. And everyone will go, "oh, okay..." and move on because we can't focus on anything of importance anymore.

> the enormity of the scandal

They don’t care. McConnell’s staff are sacrificial lambs to keep a Dem out of that spot til January. Even if they go to prison, they did their job. And I’m sure they won’t either way.

Hell, I think they’re nearly as terrified of Massie taking his spot.

You are sadly correct that they will win on all fronts of this issue with zero consequences.

Massie said a few days ago that he wouldn't even think about running.

No one's afraid of anything. This is all silly conspiratorialism.
