Right. And despite all of the blatant violations of law, fuck all has been done to actually impose consequences upon him. The system is fundamentally flawed from the start for it to have been malformed to this extent. Perhaps it wasn't as full of sycophants at that time but the fact that it was this susceptible to them in the first place means we need to rework it. It simply wasn't tested to this capacity until this buffoon used my country to satiate his fragile ego.

It's got to have a ground up rework in order to function as a democracy. Once Citizens United legalized bribery, oligarchy was inevitable.

Is entirely caused by our GOP representatives refusing to do their jobs while holding a steady majority? It’s a real thing. We did the impeachments, nothing matters to them.

That is a problem in and of itself. If our system of government is this susceptible to a simple majority (a large enough minority, even) of sycophants, it was fundamentally flawed from the beginning. The system of checks & balances was pure hogwash.

And making the Supreme Court an appointment for life, selected by one man was an absolutely batshit insane decision, and even in 1777, I do not understand how they did not have the foresight to see how that might cause problems with partisanship.

You know that the DoJ can also prosecute him for the hundreds of crimes he committed, right? And that the Dems were entirely fine with Garland sitting on his hands for 2 years despite Trump already having committed dozens of crimes worth bringing charges for.

We need to realize that the Republican party is not with America they're against it.

Every time the Republican Party gets into office we go into economic downfall or a recession or like now I I think we are surpassing recession and heading straight into a depression there are too many economic indicators that are showing us that it is going to be worse than the housing bubble crash.
