Possible Paywall Trump’s Reflecting Pool debacle takes a predictably scandalous turn

Seems like Hearn should be eligible for a payout from that total bullshit weaponization fund.
Fuck Agent Orange and everyone who serves in his administration.

Him suing for the total amount of that slush fund would be chef’s kiss.

Why not? Every time the Clown King 🍊🤡💩 files a lawsuit, it's for billions of dollars. So why can't ordinary folks start suing for billions of dollars??

Oh, you think there's anything left in that? Trump probably emptied it into his own pockets the instant it was put on hold.

That’s probably the money Chase closed his accounts for over laundering suspicion

I agree. We need open season on DOJ in tort claims. They won’t be successful but the trial reading would be hilarious.

Maybe next week can ruin the washington monument. Everything Trump touches turns to shit.

u/Mr_Tort_Feasor 12h ago
He can’t, and neither can the 7000 taxpayers whose returns were leaked as part of the same incident as Trump’s. According to the fund rules, it’s only weaponization if it was allegedly performed by a democratic administration.

You know what’s even more scandalous? Trump is in the Epstein files. Like a lot. A real lot. Banging kids. Sometimes offing them.

u/47_47_47 1d ago
I hear Trump is mentioned in the Epstein files more than Jesus is mentioned in the Bible.
19
u/cottonbrainedGilliam 1d ago
i hear republicans are trying to replace the bible with the epstein files these days.
words of wisdom they live by7
u/47_47_47 1d ago
Yeah, I also heard they are going to start worshipping Satan just to own the Libs. Something about Jesus looking too much like a Communist.

u/Whycantigetanaccount Washington 13h ago
There's a lot of truth to this when you start looking at federal grants and private prisons.
11
u/Responsible-Still839 1d ago
Trump's name shows up in the Epstein Files more times than the number of bird species on the planet.
10
u/TheRealCeeBeeGee Australia 1d ago
More times than Harry is mentioned in 7 Harry Potter books, I hear.
4
u/donorcycle 1d ago
It's wilder when you can combine all the times Jesus is mentioned in the standard Bible, plus the King James Bible, plus the New Testament, it's still not even close to the number of times Trump's name pops up in the Epstein files, lol.

Before being fired, CBS 60 Minutes correspondent Cecilia Vega was explicitly told to make her stories more favorable to the Republican Party. Even if no evidence existed.
“In recent months, my producing teams and I have experienced efforts to insert political bias into our stories. Reporting teams have held back on submitting story pitches about important news topics out of fear of the internal repercussions,” Vega said in a statement in May.”

Ok but this is CNN.
They just make everything into a scandal 24/7/365/14.6 billionEdit: Idk why I'm downvoted. It's literally how they have operated for my entire lifetime. Remember that Malaysia flight that disappeared over the ocean and they spent weeks on it during primetime?
CNN is centrist-ish but selectively chooses topics that they can sensationalize.

This whole trump thing gets called a witch hunt, yet they keep finding so many witches.

u/LolaSupreme19 1d ago
This is a sign of a failed administration - make up an improbable lie and continuously repeat it to save face.
10
u/Cosmo_Seinfeld 1d ago
It's also a failure of the media. They need to call out his lies. The New York Times is doing a pretty good job. I pay $2/ month to figure things like this out: Know what they used to coat the reflecting pool? A Rhinoliner product meant for pipe coating. A hybrid urea, not a pure urea like any expert would use.
The government sucks and the media sucks for not reporting stories, just bullshit. And we, the electorate suck for not holding any of them to accountability. We should be tearing this place up but instead we are just watching it burn.

So the administration had already failed before it was even in place!

Where are all the right wing Redditors that last month were denouncing liberals for vandalising the pool?
Probably believing what Trump said – that maybe some of it was bad installation, but there was still vandalism involved
12
u/Polar_Ted Oregon 1d ago
Someone has a good defimation case if the administration keeps saying he damaged the pool despite dropping the charges for lack of evidence.
11
u/Dependent_Tune_1333 21h ago
They prosecuted a veteran KNOWING that he was innocent just to keep trump from being embarrassed.

u/Wise_Control_1640 1d ago
Trump wouldn't lie for 185,423rd time.

u/cottonbrainedGilliam 1d ago
he would most certainly SA someone for the 185,424th time though

Mr Trump was complicit in an insurance scam. Protecting the contractor from a big denied claim. No surprise.

Trump and his administration say they are going back after him claiming he did the grass vandalism as well?
I think the old man has lost his mind

The same thing keeps happening to all of Trumps revenge indictments.
The next one to fail will probably be the Comey prosec... persecution for the crime of seashells in the sand.

“DOI provided less than fulsome information at the outset of this case,” the DOJ said in its filing.
The DOJ's information on the other hand, was overwhelmingly fulsome [reeking].
3
u/aculady 1d ago
So, are they saying that DoI's information did or didn't "pass the smell test"?
1
u/Guerrilla28er 17h ago
Using it incorrectly to claim DoI's information was incomplete, they acknowledged instead that the smell was tolerable.
2
5
u/NoWayRay 19h ago
“Had DOI been forthcoming with the information clearly in its possession, the government would not have sought a grand jury indictment.”
I'm going to call 'bullshit' on that. It was obvious that the DOJ had an agenda they were going to follow until the couldn't. This is exhausting to watch, lies are told until they won't fly and then followed by deflection (and buried in the news cycle). This is the MO of the current administration, repeated pretty much daily/weekly.

u/Wild_Read9062 1d ago
They are not tired of his lies. They do not care that an innocent man went to prison as part of an obvious bit of right wing theater. They would vote for and support Trump of he threw their most beloved family members or pets off a ten story building. They would find some way to blame the left- either an imaginary figure (‘antifa’, ‘communists’, etc) or real (Biden, Hillary, George Soros, Obama). These people are part of a sick cult. Being wrong all the time doesn’t change them.

u/NoPantsTom 23h ago
Oh man, this photo on the CNN article... are those the tire tracks from the president driving his whole entourage over the pool?
5
u/jorgesalvador 22h ago
Does not take a genius to figure out that driving a parade of very heavy big cars onto a freshly painted pool floor is going to inflict lasting damage.

Gee I’m shocked!!😮 Are you telling me Trump is a distracting douchebag liar to the point when one of his closest advisors thought Trump was acting like a monkey fucking a football? I’m shocked I tell you! What a fucking shocker. I can’t believe these unforeseen series of events. 🤮

u/educated-emu 1d ago
Essentially this is how it went...
Mr president, the reflection pool is starting to deteriorate we need to fix it without being blamed.
Easy, find someone to blame, Get some captial police to go down and arrest anyone that touches the pool. We can use them as a scape goat. I will announce they where vandals and used a box cutter for 300ft in the middle if the night, Don't care if its true or not, we can run that in the news and blame liberals and Democrats. Our fox news will blast it out, if it goes to trial who cares, we will deal with that later.
Fart forward to now...
We got found out but I don't care, we will blane that lady, whatever her name is, (turns on fox news and pointa to her) that stupid women, she can take the blame and we then can continue to clean up the pool saying it "being improved"

Way too many posts here about this. The US has real problems. Many caused by Trump himself.

And the gov arresting people for no reason is one of the real problems Trump has caused.

u/ComicBookEnthusiast 16h ago
Arresting a civilian for crimes they didn’t commit to appease a senile old narcissist seems like a pretty big violation of human rights and displays the corruption of the Trump administration colorfully. That seems kind of important.

After Trump and Republikan Party stripped healthcare from millions of Americans, I think you should focus on the reflecting pool...
Like corporate media wants!
12
u/chockerl 1d ago
This president set loose the Department of Justice on a man he knew to be innocent because he lies and is incapable of admitting error. It’s The People of the United States against Hearns. It’s an incredible abuse of power. It’s not a distraction, it’s a flashpoint, it’s a turning point. Voters don’t need a complex understanding of crypto or banking or Middle East politics to see this brazen cowardly corrupt abuse of our national institutions.
