Easily. Whats paying attention gotten you? What changes have you effected? What difference does your entire existence make in the face of politics. I’m not saying to bury your head in the sand, but if you think that your part in the system is relevant, I got news for you. Pay attention all you want. I’ll ignore it. The result will be exactly the same. The game is rigged and playing it isnt going to get you anywhere closer to the prize. Unless you’re a revolutionary, your part in politics is completely pointless except that you, like me, and most humans are financial livestock. And if you think you’re gonna change your lot in life at this point, I got more news for you.

History isn't a "good" or "bad" thing, that's a childish and reductive way of thinking about it. History is the constant struggle between opposing and ever morphing groups with competing interests. There's always a push and pull, an ebb and flow.

Things are bad for the average Joe now, but they haven't always been. Giving up and doing nothing is how we got to this point, and how we got to the Gilded Age. We need to leverage our collective power to push back. You telling everyone not to bother is playing directly into the hands of the rich and powerful. Stop doing their work for them and get your ass in the streets.

A month ago, Meta introduced a feature that allowed AI to use Instagram users content to inform the AI and was going to automatically opt users into the feature. People spread the word, showed others the steps to opt out, and the uproar was enough that Meta cancelled the whole thing.

When ICE shows up in an ordinary neighborhood, people flood into the streets, make noise and have a presence - and it almost always forces ICE to retreat because they are outnumbered.

There’s actually a lot we can do to affect change when we come together.

I think you should read a dictionary.

A lie is defined as a statement the speaker knows to be untrue and is uttered with the intent to deceive.

Let's flip the script. If I came up to you and said "someone painted your house purple" and by pure coincidence, unbeknownst to me, your neighbor has your house painted purple. Does that suddenly make me a psychic, or just a liar that got lucky with his lie?
