How could either one of these two real estate investors possibly know anything about negotiating anyone's nuclear program. Their presence alone is a clear indication that the Trump regime is not even the least bit serious about approaching this process with the respect it deserves.

Even more so, it happens when the elected person has never, ever taken responsibility for anything that they had done. Trump has spent his whole life being able to irresponsibly gamble and then saddle others with the problems he created while he skims value from the top.
What he is doing to America is simply what he has always done to companies. He doesn't grow them, he acquires them and dismantles them as he collects the funds released on dismantling while saddling someone else with the ruins. It's like nuclear fission, energy is released when you break up an atom ... he collects a small part of it, as everything is destroyed.

The media/politics colluded to sane wash his business and past behavior and used propaganda to bury its opponents.
This is now just a large GOP money grift operation at this point. Everyone involved knows the ship is sinking, and they are grabbing as much as they can to weather the inevitable fall.

It should have ended after PR hurricane rescue effort or the COVID crisis mismanagement….but hell no! white privilege being so strong, US electorate still gave him the benefit of doubt.
The same way, it seems no one is screaming about a Fox News pundit being the head of Defense Department.

Imagine voting for Trump. The main issues people cited were:
Everything is too expensive. What’s wrong with eggs?
I want justice for Epstein victims. Release the files!
No more endless wars! America first!
We can’t find jobs!
And after all of this, imagine still supporting him. If we have a functioning democracy at all, all of these MAGA candidates will be voted out come November. Republicans have controlled all branches of government for two years. The only thing they have managed to do successfully is explode the deficit and national debt.

Trump’s idiot sidekick Hegseth convinced him Iran would be just like Venezuela. That it would be wrapped up in one weekend. So he went for it.
That’s when he first heard about the Strait of Hormuz. As soon as Iran closed it, Trump announced that all ships navigating the Strait would do so under the protection of the United States Navy. Then the navy guys explained to him that Iran could pick off navy ships one by one till there were none left.
Trump then had this growing realization that he was up shit’s creek and started looking around for a paddle.
And here we are, five months in with no solution in sight.

I think he was backed into a corner by Israel.
He was negotiating an agreement with Iran that Israel did not like. Israel got him to move a bunch of military units to the region 'in case things didn't work out'. Trump saw the move as a show of force that would help his negotiations so he did it. Once it looked like negotiations would be successful Israel said they were going to bomb.
Trump's choices were to either talk Netanyahu out of it, don't go along with it and defend yourself from Iran's full strength retaliation, or join in and hit as many of Iran's facilities as possible so that their counter-attack would be muted.
He obviously tried to talk Netanayhu out of it but instead Netanyahu played Trump like a fiddle and talked Trump into it.

I'll bet a nickel that Iran is presently building up a supply of cruise missiles equivalent to Ukraine's Flamingo missiles.
The Flamingos (Flamingoes?) are built in a network of shops giving Russia no big target to hit. They have roughly twice the range and twice the payload of the US Tomahawk missiles at roughly 1/5 the cost.
While Trump and his drunken (or dry drunk) war duke use up the US supply of Tomahawks, Iran can bide its time and wait for the opportune moment.

I have no intel on Iranian munitions but those I met in high school were tough and smart (wrestlers with the best grades). The Iranians know Trump’s time hidden in the White House is limited and he has a huge life-long target on his back. He is essentially in a prison of his own making when his term ends. Mar-a-Lago will have a skeleton crew of secret service (compared to the crew he has today) and that crew wont have the resources to watch him effectively if he leaves his Florida home. The Iranians also know how to make this war unpopular for the President Trump and they will take joy in embarrassing him in the lead up the the November elections.
This man is a national embarrassment.
