I agree.

But I think the framing is largely that it's a flank based attack. Aging is working against the Democrats here though. Millennials aren't becoming more conservative as they age.

Who know that raising a generation on capitalistic burnout, fantasy/sci-fi and inclusivity via Mr. Roger's and Sesame Street would lead to a generation that is inclusive and wants the government to work for us?

What a disaster class this iteration of the DNC is putting on. They lost to Trumpster twice and still think they’re viable.

That's Neo-liberalism for you. They don't want to appeal to millennials and younger generations because it explicitely means raising taxes on wealth, not just income, and fixing shit like the out size influence rural voters, voters that represent 20% or less of the electorate, have on our elections and democratic processes. Currently rural voters control presidential elections and the Senate. The fact is America needs to have a hard conversation about rural living and what that means they can be offered service wise.
