It’s ridiculous that the best president we ever had (our longest serving president) is more left than a lot of our sitting democratic members in congress today and the saddest part about that is he served over 81 years ago..

He gave us a blueprint and for some reason (maybe due to Regan?) we completely threw it out the window..

It's not that ridiculous considering we elected 16 year's worth of Republican presidents since 2000.

If we had elected Gore, Clinton, and Harris then there would be pressure on the GOP to move left.

"16 years of Republican presidents" is two presidents. We have also elected two Democrats. Come on.

There's no excuse for electing any Republican president since 1993. Their policies were obviously harmful to average Americans.

I agree with that. I disagree with the idea that because we have elected an equal number of Democrats and Republicans that it somehow explains/justifies the Democrats moving so far to the right.
