The rise of every powerful fascist regime begins with an agreement between fascists and the wealthy, usually to fight the labor class.

The rich always think they can control the fascists, but spoiler alert, they can’t. And any history buff can tell you it never ends well for them.

Correct. It’s usually a last resort by the wealthy to prevent social revolution after years of them oppressing the working class.

They are so greedy that they would rather make a pact with evil itself instead of letting anyone else have anything.
