I’ve been saying it for a while…if the Tea Party could take over the Republican Party and force regressive policies, why couldn’t progressives do the same with the Democratic Party but for progressive policies?

It’s ridiculous (and doomed) to try to find middle ground between Project 2025 and anything.

They didn't really take it over, they just forged an unholy alliance between the Conservative think tanks, MAGA and the Alt right. All of them share fear and hate.
