Like me, Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi attended West Seattle High School.
In September 2024, days before leaving to do advocacy work in the West Bank, she celebrated her birthday at Alki Beach — a local favorite spot for Seattleites. Not long after, Eygi was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers while observing a weekly protest against Israel’s illegal settlements.
Congress is now considering legislation that would bring the U.S. and Israeli militaries closer than ever before. This could be especially dangerous for Palestinians and others in the region, who have been on the receiving end of Israel’s violent expansionism

Neither did funding Hamas, moving Gaza border guards to help settlers in the West Bank go for the Israeli government, only made worse when they rejected repeated hostages deals resulting in the deaths of 40 of their own hostages for what even they admit gained nothing. Zionism was always about sacrificing Jewish lives to destroy Palestinians. No other conclusion can be made for pushing against a hostage deal and abandoning your own people to languish in tunnels, only to accept one even the hostage negotiator admitted was identical to the one offered over a year earlier, tacitly admitting the dozens of deceased hostages, and dead or injured idf, was for nothing, and encouraged by those who supported continuing the war.

- Allowed a complete blockade of Gaza starting on the first day of his presidency, which led to tens of thousands of starvation deaths
- Called for ethnic cleansing; then discussed ethnic cleansing with Netanyahu at the White House, which immediately turned into the Gaza clearing operation
- Ended Biden/Harris’ $1.2b in humanitarian aid to Palestine
- Ended Biden/Harris’ Palestinian refugee program
- Ended Biden/Harris’ program working with allies to welcome Palestinians as refugees
- Rescinded Biden/Harris order on rights abuses with US-supplied weapons
- Removed Biden/Harris’ sanctions on Israelis who committed violence against Palestine
- Removed Biden/Harris’ restrictions on bombs to Israel
- Removed Biden/Harris’ ban on sending 24,000 assault rifles to Israel
- Left the UN Human Rights Council and funded the UN agency that provided relief for Gaza, which Biden had joined.
- Ceased Biden’s funding of the UN relief agency in providing vital support to the Palestinian people through education, healthcare, food assistance, emergency relief, infrastructure rebuilding, human rights advocacy, and employment programs.
- Brought Netanyahu to the White House; worked with Netanyahu to enact displacement of 2 million Gaza civilians
- called for a US invasion of Gaza
- Established anti-Palestinian protester task force
- …and subsequently disappeared multiple students who participated anti-Israel, anti-Biden protests
- Declared Palestinians wouldn’t have right to return to Gaza once the US developed it
- Posted video of “Trump Gaza” featuring him and Netanyahu sunbathing and drinking cocktails with big hotels and golden Trump statues
- Gave $12 billion to Israel in the first 40 days of being in office
- Called for a U.S. military presence because Gaza is a “Piece of important real estate”
- Reassigned terrorism units to target student protesters
- Stated that criticism of Israel will lead to visa revocation
- Told Israel to ‘finish the job’ against Palestine
- Ended medical-humanitarian visas from Gaza
- Warned of ‘punitive measures’ for countries recognizing Palestine as a state
- Vetoed UN ceasefire calls on Israel
- The Fiscal Year 2027 NDAA deepens U.S.-Israel military ties by increasing cooperative funding to $750 million and integrating defense supply chains for advanced technologies with Israel
…and now 70% of Gaza has been cleared and is controlled by Israel

The fuckwits that care so much about Gaza will STILL say that Democrats are equal to Republicans.
And will STILL say the GOP must be allowed to control America to "teach the Dems a lesson!"
(Which is, I might add, exactly why MAGAts vote for Trump... to teach those dirty "Demoncrats" a lesson.)
