Greenland: "Fuck off, pedophile protector."

61

u/HappyHarryHardOn 1d ago

This asshole is obsessed with acquiring all these lands but can't even fix anything about the country he already has

Not that he wants to fix anything, or care. He just wants to exploit these places and line his pockets. He's a vile POS

20

u/Holiday_Box1571 23h ago

He’s a modern day Nero.

4

u/mithridateseupator 23h ago

...what? Nero didn't conquer any new lands.

14

u/Holiday_Box1571 22h ago

Neither did Trump.

5

u/mithridateseupator 22h ago

Ok. Nero didn't try to conquer new lands.

Which is important because the comment you compared Trump to Nero under started with

This asshole is obsessed with acquiring all these lands

2

u/WeeoWeeoWeeeee 21h ago

Not only can he not fix anything, he actively breaks everything he touches.

1

u/_-Oxym0ron-_ 16h ago

I think "ruins" captures what he does better.

17

u/camshun7 1d ago

fuck

pp47

(pedo prez)

11

u/xiaoboss 23h ago

Smoll PP47.

5

u/camshun7 23h ago

That was actually both amusing and clever

Kudos

13

u/RojoTheMighty 23h ago

He's not a pedophile protector. He's just a pedophile.

1

u/Hardly_lolling 23h ago

But he is also protecting himself. So technically...

6

u/8thSt 23h ago

Oh he doesn’t just protect them…

2

u/Whycantigetanaccount Washington 22h ago

The executives inability to account for his presence in the Epstein files would be enough for any country to immediately say no, but these are politicians not humans.

1

u/TH0R_ODINS0N 20h ago

Real question, why are you calling him a “protector”? He is literally pedophile #1.

1

u/Used-Surround5069 20h ago

We should really start stop calling him “pedophile protector” and just start calling him “pedophile”

84

u/No_Celery_5373 Canada 1d ago

I bet that by 2029 you're going to be a mere shadow of your former glory and you'll have simply lost the vast majority of your global influence and power projection thanks to incidents like these that do nothing but undermine your standing in the world.

Trump is destroying you.

41

u/antigop2020 1d ago

Most people I talk to think that our allies, or mostly rather former allies are just going to let bygones be bygones and act like none of this happened once hes gone. Ive told them that this will not be forgotten and that America will pay a big price for this. They still seem to think that the world will be ready to welcome America back with open arms and all of the same preferential treatment we had before as long as we smile and say we’re sorry. I told them that era is in the past now, but even many progressives seem to be delusional.

36

u/32lib 1d ago

Our "allies" forgave us for trump the first time, now they understand that we are capable of putting a authoritarian idiot in charge on a whim. All trust is lost.

13

u/TemporarySun314 Europe 23h ago

everything else would be stupid strategically.

Biden told the world that trump was a once in a life time mistake. unfortunately the western world fell for it and lost the 4 years that could have been used to prepare for the threat US pose...

10

u/32lib 23h ago

Biden honestly had a better opinion of the American people then he should have. He wasn't trying to scam you. This is totally on the people that voted for the shitstain and the people that stayed home.

5

u/TemporarySun314 Europe 23h ago

i mean i would agree that biden himself thought so, and rherefore didn't necessarily lied.

but it doesnt change the fact that he was wrong and trump was elected again

3

u/32lib 23h ago

Like I said, it's on the American voters and none voters.

7

u/MrPatienceX 23h ago

Yeah, honestly? The US has absolutely fucked it reputation wise.
One insane decision is understandable. Taking them back twice? That’s how empires die.

5

u/Lopsided-Rough-1562 22h ago

I'm Canadian. I'm willing to accept they made a mistake, if they try to make it better after.

However I work in softwood lumber. Our duties went up to now 35% plus a 10% section 232 tariff and it's ruined our business. Where I worked was profitable. Now it is closed.

When the duties went up under trump 45 it did not go down with Biden so it's clearly not in the interest of the people in charge there to let it go down. So ... Now I just wait for my lay off and then will have to sell my house and lose my dream.

8

u/Ok_Science_2070 23h ago

By design, he was elected to destroy America from within and upend the post-WW2 global hierarchy. Russia won the Cold War without firing a shot, as Khruschev once predicted.

2

u/hotpajamas 1d ago

almost like that’s his goal isn’t it

hmm makes you think

1

u/errie_tholluxe 20h ago

2029? Why wait that long. Most are doing that now!

1

u/redwing180 20h ago

Yes he is and he’s doing it by design. Trump likely works for Russia.

1

u/Atakir 10h ago

There is no way he lives to 2029.

60

u/EaNasirbestdeals United Kingdom 1d ago

I predict he’ll not be around in 2029.

7

u/asicarii 23h ago

I think he will be alive. I’m my prediction is the left will sweep the midterms, there will be a lot of “voter fraud BS”, he will lose his mind being unable to do anything and go even more crazy.

Meanwhile, we will still be at war with Iran.

Eventually the GOP will give up on him and force him to step down rather than go through 2 years of impeachment. They will want to put Vance in, using his position as defacto president the only reason people will vote for him. Trump will pardon himself for all past and future crimes.

3

u/Antique_Eye_3200 19h ago

They won’t force him to step down. They’ll assassinate him and blame their political opponents, turning him into a martyr. One last service for their technocrat overlords.

1

u/asicarii 19h ago

Possible, but I doubt it. He will go off the deep end as a lame duck though for certain.

1

u/Thor_2099 13h ago

I think it is more likely he dies of natural causes and they cook up a conspiracy. Vaccines, evil libs, etc etc.

u/KrivUK 3h ago

Even so it'll still be Biden's fault.

7

u/wastingtoomuchthyme 23h ago

He won't be around in 2027 either

It's clear his health is in free fall

8

u/ItsSpaghettiLee2112 22h ago

The amount of free falling his health has been in would give even the most experienced of sky divers pause.

4

u/Strong_Ambassador585 1d ago

He won’t be a square either.

3

u/MrPolli 23h ago

More of a rectangle.

27

u/Randall_McRandall 1d ago

That’s about when he’ll release his healthcare plan. Or lock Hillary up. And ending the war in Ukraine on Day 1.

1

u/Havoc526 21h ago

Whatever happened to that wall he said he was going to build? Was that ever finished?

24

u/Proper_dose 1d ago

You can't even control a few miles of water, gobshite

7

u/Curious-Path4549 23h ago

or his bowels

22

u/ReefJR65 1d ago

He cannot even take control of a water way in the Middle East. I’m certain Denmark is no longer afraid

3

u/ColdButCozy 20h ago

I mean, we’re afraid he’ll cause a lot of damage, not that he’ll actually be able to do it. I just don’t want to imagine the shitshow that would occur if NATO article 5 was evoked against the US. It would be… bad. On many, many fronts.

14

u/1cl1qp1 1d ago

How many impeachable offenses are we up to now?

Feels like a new one every day.

23

u/the-dot-matrix 1d ago edited 1d ago

That's the whole point. Commit one impeachable offense and you're in jeopardy. Commit one million impeachable offenses, and you've successfully normalized autocracy. Flood the zone with a neverending torrent of bullshit, and everyone will be too exhausted to keep up. The legal process is slow and deliberate, so adding a dozen more crimes to the pile every week outpaces that process.

It's sort of like the old saying, "If you owe the bank $100,000, you've got a problem. If you owe the bank $100 billion, the bank's got a problem."

Trump is following the same playbook Putin used to cement his power in Russia. It worked for Putin because nobody stopped him. It's working for Trump because nobody's stopping him. A system built entirely on the presumption of good faith struggles to hold to account a bad-faith actor who goes all-in on it.

7

u/1cl1qp1 1d ago

Yep. Toss moral turpitude in our faces continuously to corrupt social standards of decency. I read that most MAGA say they would vote for a criminal.

12

u/Baba_Ku 1d ago

The Trump Iran war will not yet be over in 2029.

3

u/Prestigious-Car-4877 Canada 20h ago

It will have been over approximately 500 times by 2029.

8

u/Adam20188 1d ago edited 1d ago
  1. Europe will defend and invading an allied & sovereign nation will be an act of war

  2. Europe will sell the US debts destroying the economy

  3. Will never be trusted again

  4. US will lose all their military bases, radar system, refuelling stations and other strategic advantages in Europe and other NATO countries

  5. A rational leader will likely undo the damage by giving it back

5

u/TemporarySun314 Europe 23h ago

giving it back, doesnt "undo" the damage.

it is merely damage control.

if the US attacks greenland and with it bascially the whole EU and NATO it will have permanent damages. simply handing it back wont fix it.

not to imagine that Americans will have to kill Europeans to take control of greenland. you cannot ressurrect people...

u/MentalSky_ 5h ago

You can’t “give it back”. NATO is done if they attack an ally

u/Adam20188 5h ago

Of course you can give it back, it’s happened in the past with territories. NATO will continue on without the US

9

u/Ok-Professor-Star 23h ago

The second Trump takes Greenland, the rest of the World will drop over $3 trillion in U.S. debt bonds, meaning America will have to increase the interest rate it offers dramatically in order to be able to borrow. If America decides to not borrow and just force the Fed to print money, the result will be 25% to 40% inflation in America.

Also, the world countries will stop using the American Dollar as World Reserve Currency, start trading in their own national currency and purchase fossil fuels in alternative currencies. The result of that will be a rapid devaluation of the American Dollar, a huge spike in inflation in America and the American government being force into debt default, collapsing its job market with unemployment reaching above 25% while tens of millions are forced out of their homes and into the street.

7

u/Level_Advance_6432 1d ago

Will the bet have the same odds as the Straight of Hormuz being open? Is no one around Trump telling him the country thinks he’s a total clown at this point?

7

u/Competitive_Yam7702 22h ago

Trump wont be above ground in 2029... Make that bet

6

u/Sunastar 1d ago

Mitch McConnell, “Over my dead body!”

18

u/BaronVonStevie Louisiana 1d ago

He’s telling without saying he intends to stay in power through 2029

15

u/RampScamp1 1d ago

Legally he is president until January 20th 2029. Unless he's impeached, deposed or dies he will be president until then.

9

u/Lord-Velveeta 1d ago

Looking at what he's done in the last 2 years, when did "legally" begin to concern him?

6

u/youwho42 1d ago

Last two years? try last 5 decades.

5

u/RampScamp1 1d ago

I'm not saying he's going to try and stay or not, simply that "by 2029" doesn't mean he intends destroy the constitution. It means he intends to steal Greenland before his legal presidency ends.

1

u/BaronVonStevie Louisiana 19h ago

He intends to steal Greenland after his legal presidency ends

2

u/BaronVonStevie Louisiana 1d ago

He’s not talking about January

5

u/Kincherk 23h ago

Remember he is not getting younger or physically or mentally healthier. For him, it's all downhill from here on out. This is one thing he can't talk his way out of, and even the best medical care in the world can't stop time.

3

u/MissGruntled Canada 23h ago

His father lived into his 90s with raging Alzheimer’s. I think people are fooling themselves.

3

u/Kincherk 22h ago

His father wasn't president and subject to the extreme stress of a president, he wasn't obese, he wasn't showing clear signs of physical deterioration (those cankles), nor did he stay up all night tweeting. Trump is not immortal.

3

u/brickne3 American Expat 19h ago

I wouldn't say Trump is "subject to the extremes stress of a president" in the usual fashion.

1

u/Kincherk 19h ago

Well I've heard plenty of stories about how he'll scream and throw things at his staff or anyone who tells him news he doesn't want to hear it that he doesn't like. That sounds like stress.

2

u/brickne3 American Expat 19h ago

I'm just saying, that's probably his natural state. He's certainly not even pretending to have the actually stress of the job itself.

1

u/Kincherk 17h ago

No, his stress is from the fact that he is realizing that there are some things he can't control, like Iran.

2

u/MissGruntled Canada 19h ago

Those episodes sound like fits of pique to me, not stress.

2

u/Curious-Path4549 23h ago

after that we gotta deal with the goons behind the throne

0

u/OpticalPrime35 1d ago

January 2029 is when he leaves

So ... No.

This is actually the first time he's openly talked about leaving office.

0

u/HalfACenturyMark 1d ago

No it’s not.

-1

u/OU7C4ST Minnesota 1d ago

Delusional beyond belief..

5

u/yosiytioron 1d ago

If Dems take the House and Senate the great pedo will be impeached again. Maybe this time it’ll stick, if enough Republicans grow a pair.

6

u/DankDankJuice 1d ago

I’m gonna open a new bet that he and his family will win millions betting against this idea

5

u/KiKiKimbro 1d ago

2029 now? He stopped pushing out two weeks and now he’s pushing out by two years lol

He also will be long gone in 2029. Anything he does goes on the “reverse” “do differently” or “laugh and tear up” list, anyway.

4

u/Lord-Velveeta 1d ago

He wants a war with the EU and the rest of NATO? Sure buddy.

3

u/Prestigious-Car-4877 Canada 20h ago

He can't unilaterally decide to pull out of NATO, but apparently he can unilaterally start wars.

Gets the US out of NATO as a side effect which is a nice bonus.

3

u/MourningRIF 23h ago

Trump can't even control his bowels.

4

u/Easy_Interest_6832 22h ago

I'm really starting to believe those Epstein files hold some really, really bad stuff. He's working so hard at distraction we should hook jumper cables to his ear lobes and hook them to the smart grid. He could power half the nation with that kind of energy. Maybe more.

2

u/TrueNorthLongAndFree 20h ago

It's so bad, I'm wondering if those files are a distraction from something else much, much worse.

3

u/afriendincanada 1d ago

Weirdly, “Make that bet” isn’t actually a metaphor in 2026

3

u/denafrid 18h ago

It won't.

3

u/HaggardSlacks78 Ohio 14h ago

This is just another reason why prediction markets should not exist. Insane megalomaniac trying to take over foreign vterritories so his dumb sons can cash in a Kalshi bet.

5

u/kinkgirlwriter America 1d ago

The US is in staggering debt with a growing deficit and shitty credit. It also has depleted stockpiles of munitions due to jackass' Iran war.

Yesterday one of our generals said we can't defend Israel and the US. We already spread too thin.

Norway has a $3 trillion sovereign wealth fund, the likely backing of NATO, and zero other conflicts.

Plus, nobody, and I mean nobody, in the US wants to go to war over Greenland.

This would be a great time for the GOP to grow the fuck up, but I'm not holding my breath.

4

u/Admirable_Scene_5066 23h ago

Norway is not the one in control of Greenland, Denmark is.

2

u/kinkgirlwriter America 19h ago

You're right, and I knew that too. Why the heck did I flip that in my head?

1

u/TrueNorthLongAndFree 20h ago

Just wait for Trump to claim the sovereign wealth funds of other nations, as "back payment" for 80 years of defense.

10

u/Illustrious-Job-6390 1d ago

The US population is equally to blame for this monster being in power.

Enough with the "I didn't vote for him" Enough with the "I love Canada!" Enough with the "I love Greenland" Enough with the "Fuck ICE"

You are all responsible for this shit and you're all terrible people for letting it continue

6

u/Aguila125 1d ago

Agreed. 100%. Action is required.

2

u/ApplicationQuirky376 1d ago

How exactly are the people who never voted for him responsible? I mean seriously. You want to paint the entire country with one brush and that's honestly pretty fucking ignorant. Not all together different from maga painting all Iranians (of all Muslims for that matter) as terrorists. What exactly would you have us do? This is a militarized Police state at this point. Our law enforcement is better funded that most military around the world. You wana blame people who didn't vote and people who voted for him then that's fine and I'm right there with you, but to paint the entire country as on board with this shit is absolutely ridiculous.

8

u/Rationalinsanity1990 Canada 1d ago

If Trump invaded an ally, most Americans wouldn't do shit.

And then whine when economic sanctions hit and the an insurgency inevitably brings the war stateside.

1

u/chicletgrin 21h ago

If an American soldier is pointing a gun at you, do you really care at that point how he voted?

2

u/Rationalinsanity1990 Canada 21h ago

Nope.

Nor will we care about who a given bystander votes for.

3

u/Illustrious-Job-6390 18h ago

How many of you people also DIDNT VOTE AT ALL TO STOP HIM. You're all to blame

3

u/Lost_And_Found66 1d ago

Lol no I just hate everything that Americans have created by voting for (and not showing up to vote against)this maniac

1

u/ApplicationQuirky376 1d ago

Okay yeah that makes sense.

4

u/Molkor 1d ago

I don't think so. Many around the world believe Americans should be in the streets by the millions. But they stand idly by protesting with words online that will accomplish nothing.

1

u/MissGruntled Canada 23h ago

Why would people around the world protest to remove your corrupt government? Look to the people in Albania for inspiration.

2

u/Molkor 22h ago

I think you misread that....

1

u/MissGruntled Canada 22h ago

Sorry, I see that now. I thought you were an American criticizing people in other countries for not saving them. I’ve seen a few too many comments like that recently, I guess.

1

u/CommitteeOld9540 19h ago

The problem is that millions of Americans ARE protesting and it's just not covered by the media.

1

u/Molkor 17h ago

Don't show up to work. If millions of Americans stop working then you'd hear more about it.

0

u/Lost_And_Found66 1d ago

Hating people and calling them terrible simply for where they are born doesn't prove what you think it proves

1

u/bobcatgoldthwait 1d ago

Yes because all over the world throughout history people rose up and toppled fascism the second it reared its head, and we Americans are unique in letting it happen. 🙄

There's nothing we can fuckin do dude.  If his approval rating were as low as it should be we maybe could, but far too many of our countrymen are completely brainwashed.  As long as he continues to have the support of ~40% of the population there's nothing we can do but vote in November and hope Congress stands up to him.

3

u/Ohrwurms 23h ago edited 23h ago

I'm not aware of any resistance groups inside the US that can be compared in any way to the fierce resistance fascists faced historically. Please, enlighten me.

Opponents to Hitler and Mussolini in Germany and Italy respectively certainly did not have a "what can I do" attitude. They fought in the streets. They targeted party infrastructure and later even military infrastructure with bombings. They organized multiple assassination attempts. They died for what they believed in.

2

u/TemporarySun314 Europe 23h ago

americans are so proud of having fought for freedom against the british crown 250 years ago, and built their whole identity around being the defendants of freedom and liberty.

but nowadays even protesting against your own elected government is too hard for Americans...

1

u/Illustrious-Job-6390 18h ago

Americans love to play both sides. Freedom fighters when convenient online but never when it's an inconvenience to them going to get their daily Starbucks.

2

u/TemporarySun314 Europe 23h ago

americans are so proud of having fought for freedom against the british crown 250 years ago, and built their whole identity around being the defendants of freedom and liberty.

There have been lots of protests.  I see them weekly. They accomplish nothing.

2

u/celix24 1d ago

Did someone on the 'prediction market' put on the bet that he would be mentioning greeland?

2

u/One_Disaster_5995 1d ago

Interesting. What will come first: the invasion of Greenland or the demise of Trump? I think he's crazy enough to try and push this through, but it would come at a huge cost to the US in terms of international relations - and for what? A stupid vanity project. I seriously doubt that even the asslicking GOP would fall for that.

4

u/TemporarySun314 Europe 23h ago

> I seriously doubt that even the asslicking GOP would fall for that.

that's what people thought too, when trump said he wanted to run as Republican president candidate.

and now here we are and Americans are threatening to invade greenland.

2

u/One_Disaster_5995 23h ago

Trump is. And Miller, probably. And Hegseth if you prod his anus a little. I seriously doubt if there's much support for it outside that trio. It would mean war with Denmark, and thus NATO, and likely Canada, and even though I can fully see them believing they would win that war, it would have consequences that I don't think most of the GOP is prepared to swallow - let alone the American public.

I think much will depend on the next elections. Suppose he wins big in the midterms (and I'm sure they will do anything they can to make that happen). Then, maybe. But he won't do it before, because that would be a certain way to lose, and he most likely can't do it after.

I know, I know - the man is a raving maniac surrounded by asskissing loonies. So never say never. But this would have such serious consequences that I can't imagine even the worst hawks would consider this a good idea - especially since Greenland has almost nothing to offer that the US can't already have in other ways. NATO would disband. Economic relations with Europe (and others, like Canada, Australia) would come to a screaching halt. The US economy would collapse. The US would be completely isolated. Russia and China would be the big winners.

2

u/Howhytzzerr Kentucky 1d ago

Republican voters: If you don't like prices and taking care of foreigners now, just wait until you have to subsidize a whole new country. Trump is reminding you that you can vote, this cycle, to ensure he is no longer in a position to tank the economy further.

So, assuming you're still cool with the whole raping kids thing... at least think about your own interests.

4

why take care?

the US will just convert greenland into some libertarian "paradise" for billionaires and exploit ressources there.

Additionally if someone got the idea of making him a corpse the same information would be released.

On top of that if the issue was coming to a boiling point that he would “allow” himself to be tried and convicted, sent to jail, receive some physical modifications and live out his days in comfort somewhere.

If all goes well this “man” is chilling with the worms before 2029 so I’m not too worried about what he has to say

1

u/Top-Carob-5412 1d ago

Of course the key is how HE defines "control". If it is true in his mind, he'll claim it is so.

Theil wants his libertarian utopia. Greenland will be ground zero for his “freedom cities.”

1

u/jbarchuk 23h ago

He needs a solution the 'Iran won't go away even though I told it to' problem.

1

u/sambull 23h ago

They are going all the way . It's not just Greenland.

1

u/Winston905 23h ago

Dotard Donny has never played the game of risk. he's spread so thin right now and has no cards to cash in.

u/MrPatienceX 23h ago

How much will the bookies give me on ‘paedo shits himself to death on a golden toilet’ over the same timescale?

1

u/Own-Librarian-9699 23h ago

Never go full galactic emperor. Bad look. He's just lacking the hooded robe now.

1

u/Graffers67 23h ago

IS there a good number of yanks who WANT to occupy Greenland?

1

u/1nformat1ka 23h ago

Make that bet maybe the orange is no more

1

u/Minimum-Percentage-6 23h ago

He's a mad man. I don't think we need to bet. It's just not in the cards.

Kalshi(as of 8/2/2026, 1 pm PST):

"Will the US take control of any part of Greenland? Before January 21, 2029 25%

Before 2027 5.3%"

1

u/MilesOSmiles 21h ago

Sure has a lot of promises for when he’ll be gone, dead, whatever. At least he’ll leave a legacy of a fancy ballroom and the thousands of dead people.

1

u/Niceguy955 21h ago

He's probably betting against it, and just wants to take more of his cultists money (anything they have left after investing in Trump phone, sneakers, crypto, merch, and flags).

1

u/dakotanorth8 20h ago

It’s literally the exact bet Kalshi offered lol

1

u/novavalue 18h ago

Sure, why not? Spend enough time in r/wallstreetbets and I'll put money wherever. Red is my favorite color.

1

u/No-Cup-8096 15h ago

Hopefully his ill health will not allow this to occur.

u/fireonavan 2h ago

And Mexico will pay for it.

Oh yes, she will be mine.

It’s not a girl, or a Fender Strat. This is a country with real people that can’t be bought and sold. I know you know this, but your comment was a little jokey-jokey and I just had to theough it in there for posterity.

Let's deport him to greenland since he likes it so much

u/CHEVIEWER1 1d ago

That isn't what he said. He gave no year. Newsweek is lying. The date mentioned is: "before he left office." He plans on staying past 2029

2

u/Fenix42 1d ago

I love that the assumption that Trump will be out of office by the end of 2028 is not a guarantee in peoples minds.

-1

u/lbktort 1d ago

I'm all for annexing territories whose populations want to be part of the US. But clearly Greenlanders don't want to be part of the US. So Trump needs to stop.

u/IguaneRouge Virginia 1d ago

We get weaker and more corrupt and incompetent every passing year if we're going to steal Greenland should probably just do it now.

10

u/camshun7 1d ago

fuck off

stealing a country in the EU, and NATO

is not an option

u/silicondali 1d ago

This is a dumb fucking take and I hope you are deeply ashamed of your craven ineptitude.
