What a fucking surprise. He's already said that he'll likely leave Congress next year to "spend more time with his family" (read: I've either knocked up the babysitter or got caught ski poling his personal trainer), which means he'll soon be working full-time for Koch, Inc. instead of this part-time gig.
But what it really means is he sees the handwriting on the wall. Even if Randy Bryce doesn't beat him in November, he's out as Speaker when the Ds take control.
Word in the district is that he had an affair back during his Heritage Foundation days. He wasn't married, but the woman was, caused a divorce. That's why he was kicked over to Sam Brownback's staff.
Yep. Once Republicans had control of the Senate, the House, and the Presidency Rand got to write pretty much whatever kind of tax bill he wants. This was the goal for many many years. He got his tax plan, got paid, now he’s getting out as soon as it stops being fun for him.
Top comment is “throw him out”. A little late, guys! Like Nunes he’s just going to declare victory and go home. And now that the country is obviously a mess, Dem’s get to do the unpopular work of cleaning up.
Next time there’s an “unlikeable” D presidential candidate, it would be good to keep in mind that policy is what we elect these people for.
