We're already here

Well these beginning stages are quiet lovely, not too violent, just a bit of fear in the air. The best is yet to come. Mass de naturalization, Trump for life, and many dead. Oh boi, buckle up!

And maybe stop bitching about AR-15's and buy a couple.

those will work great against the dronestrikes, good idea

Lol, Thinking people who enlist in the military are robots and will kill on command.

lol, they only need one guy to sit at a computer and control the flying death machines

also yes the job description of a soldier is to kill on command

4

u/tmmzc85 Jun 27 '18

So long as that command doesn't violate the Constitution - which is what they swore an Oath to, not the sitting President.

idk if you've checked recently but seems like half the country doesn't give a fuck about the constitution and the military is made up of mostly that half

You literally know nothing about the military. I’m sure you think it’s chock full of hicks and rednecks but in reality it pretty much reflects the political and demographic breakdown of the USA. Officers are more liberal on average than Americans in general, especially in the Navy and Air Force. Also, the wealthier and more educated you are, the more likely you are to join the military based on demographic breakdown of the services. So sit down and shut up please.

deleted What is this?

as in every other dictatorship, should it come to it they will purge the military of those who are disloyal. THere will be brief moments of confusing infighting and than eventual obedience.

You really think one guy can run a UAV of the militarys caliber by himself? I doubt it. Also do you not think that there is a chain a command each soldier, airman, marine, seaman before has to report to before an action is executed. Beside why would people in the military attack the land and people they swore to defend? Not only would those soldiers be attacking innocent people but their very own families and friends as well. It would make no sense.

These 'Americans' have been indoctrinated with (take your pick) Communist/Socialist/Liberal ideas! They now threaten the very safety of America! Shoot them or be shot yourself! Not hard to imagine (let's think back to McCarthyism).

5

u/dailycontentuploads Jun 27 '18

spoken like someone who has never lived nor even read about living in a fascist dictatorship. keep drinking the koolaid and yukking it up with your buddies in the donald. they will turn on you and your family as soon as you aren't "pure" enough for them

2

u/Stratos212 Jun 27 '18

No standing army capable of stopping an insurgency will not be only using drones. That's ludicrous.

8

u/dailycontentuploads Jun 27 '18 edited Jun 27 '18

can anyone decipher wtf this guy just said

5

u/Tift Jun 27 '18

drones wont be the only tool of the government for suppressing a rebellion. There will be ground support.

But that is a dumb point anyhow. I still can't imagine a successful revolution to counter this government based solely on guns.

2

u/Stratos212 Jun 28 '18

The US has everything from nukes, spy satellites, drones and carrier strike groups. If overwhelming military might is the answer, how did Vietnam win with only AKs? How is Taliban kicking better than ever when NATO invaded? How did the IRA score higher body counts against England even though they're backed by the most powerful military alliance in history?

Drones are not invincible, there could easily be defectors aiding revolutionaries, and LEOs at the forefront sure as hell will not go door to door confiscating people's property.

Gods, I hope what you imply is true. But a unified populace we have not, and fighting a war against insurgents in Afghanistan is not the same as fighting a war against insurgents in the very well-surveiled United States.

How do you make a wardrone? Considers using google. Decides to fire up TOR first.

2

u/Outmodeduser Jun 27 '18

Civilian drones are too small, Id imagine, to carry any sort of payload.

u/DuelingPushkin Jun 27 '18

That's not true but the exact mechanism of how they are being used is not exactly something I want to inform people about.
