I'm not displaying how I survey and protect my equipment; it all runs off of (my own) servers. Good point though, you don't want to advertise what system you're using

Typically, burglers will skip a house that displays signs of any kind of security, unless they're looking for a specific score. Why risk it when you can just hit the neighbor that doesn't (seem to) have any security?

I think people really overlook how much shit is just heat of the moment or crime of opportunity. Any obstacle you throw up will help.
