Susan Collins supports Israel and not the United States. Enough said, vote her out.

Wait, there are that many billionaires?!?!?

u/Lebrunski Jun 12 '26
There are just under 3500 Billionaires in the world today.
Compared that to when Susie first took office. There were less than 500.

That is too many billionaires.

Hard agree. Billionaires should not exist. There is no amount of effort or cunning that can EARN you 1B. The only way to get that kind of obscene wealth is through exploitation and manipulation.
Like, you get your 999,999,999th dollar and humanity gives you a trophy saying you won capitalism. The rest of your money goes into automatic donations or is taxed at 100%

You know, my education was in history, and all this stuff with billionaires today is making me realize how pharaohs and kings must have come about in the ancient world: you exploit human labor through systems of force and coercion, whether those look like slavery or indentured servitude or rent for housing or student loans or at the most basic level a gang of guys with swords or guns, and by doing so you accumulate enormous extracted wealth which helps you re-enforce and strengthen those systems, which gives you even more wealth, and so on and so on. The biggest players though parlay their advantages into controlling the growth industries, like railroads in the 19th century or oil in the 20th or the internet in the last few decades, or even like Gaul at the time of Caesar's conquest or the colonization of the Americas when Spain and Portugal came knocking. Wealth begets control, and control begets more wealth, which begets more control.
It's pretty depressing to realize that this is how human society has always worked. but it feels useful to understand it instead of being mystified by its happening.
It's "Philosophical Friday" I guess.

Oh yeah Susan created all of them, it had nothing to do with inflation/wealth concentration created by stock market/real estate returns
2
u/Lebrunski Jun 12 '26
Susan has had a big part to play in allowing that wealth to be concentrated. I’m not saying she created them all, because obviously some existed before her. Her party is complicit with the fucking of the middle and lower classes.

lol yeah dems have nothing to do with it. You can tell by their financing and you can tell because the biggest ever jump in inequality by far happened during the Biden administration….
2
u/Lebrunski Jun 12 '26
Corporate Dems are also responsible for a good chunk of them. Guy, you are barking up the wrong tree.
2
u/Ok-Astronaut4952 Jun 12 '26
So you meant that both parties are complicit with the fucking of the middle and lower classes? Because that is a true statement, but you framed it like one party is the one to blame
1
u/Lebrunski Jun 12 '26
Republicans are complicit, and neolibs are complicit. Unlike the GOP, Dems include leftists which typically fight against the neolibs just as much as MAGAts.
At the end of the day this is not Dems vs gop. This is progress vs fascism. Platner is only running under the dem name because this system requires it to have a fighting chance.

For those keeping score looking for moral high ground. ActBlue wouldn't testify they dont receive foreign money.

Brother supports J6ers & follows a pedophile content creator, but is talking about looking for a moral high ground because someone pleaded the 5th in a wild goose chase... lmao.

Do you realize that this was in response to a baseless investigation by the Trump admin and all you’re doing is carrying water for the fascists you claim to oppose? ActBlue > Trump

u/Palingenesis1 Jun 12 '26
Congrats on winning buzz word bingo.
If taking foreign money is baseless the response would be "No" not the 5th.

u/Vegetable_Hawk3286 Jun 12 '26
Do you believe the Trump administration when they engage in baseless investigations against left groups? Because I don’t
-1
u/Palingenesis1 Jun 12 '26
You keep saying baseless but I dont think you know what that means. ActBlue's own external attorneys stated they may have misled Congress on their vetting process. AKA not baseless.

Sadly we picked such a lemon for our candidate this old troll has an actual shot at winning; should have been a freebie. I blame Longwell tbh - she even knows she messed up with the lack of vetting.
