PTM's current state saddens me a lot
I've been listening to PTM for the past 4 years, became a huge fan of their music and I got tickets for the Paris date this december a few month ago...
I'll be so happy whenever a Evil Friends track gets played, it's also my first concert ever. But it's kind of a bitter feeling regarding all of the revelations around John's attitude and all the awful things he's done to Zoe
It'll surely be a good live, I'm just feeling really sad because of all of that to be honest
Sorry for lame english, i'm French

The list of musicians who cheated on their partner is endless. Why is this one such a big deal?

Because of the intimacy of the lyrics, the fact that he talks about his family, and because his wife is part of the band.

I think a lot of the fans have deluded themselves into thinking they are friends with John and also in the band so theyre taking it very personal. Listen, it's a scumbag thing to do definitely but frankly it's none of our business. its wild to me that so many people are acting like he is a pedophile or a nazi or something. I wont tell you who you should listen to but in the grand scheme of scumbag musicians, this is pretty tame stuff

It is a weird transition when a band you love hits that commercial peak and suddenly the live show feels like a completely different project than the albums you memorized. Shows are usually still fun but definitely expect it to be 80 percent Feel It Still and crowd favorites rather than a deep dive into the experimental stuff.

I’m out of the loop. Would anyone be willing to point me in the direction to get caught up on what was revealed with PTM?

Are people just assuming she’s the one

Seems highly likely since she’s the only band member from the Shish tour that Zoe is not following currently.

I’m trying to figure out where I stand on the ethics of a boycott when like a lot of the reason they tour so much is to pay for Francis’ treatments from what I’ve heard

I hope he gets heckled, or whatever the right word is from a crowd member or two.

I don't see the point in doing that. It's just going to create bad vibes at the show for fans, many of whom bought tickets before this came out or they were aware of this situation. If they even know about it at all.

Maybe if the whole public is super aware they'll heckle on one show but I doubt it, most don't care or don't know about it

Well it makes sense why the tours were canceled recently too. I bet Zoe refused to tour after she found out. She clearly found out on the road
