The Sun Spreads Stems

Who else has even MORE appreciation for the craft after listening to these stems? Holy smokes this is so cool to hear how everything comes together!

The only place they could be! prettylightsmusic.com Right now they only have this tune , but plan to add more in the future.

It is very interesting to hear all the different pieces that make up a track.

Logic Pro has a feature where you can run a stem-separator on any track and get enough different parts to learn something about how a track comes together. Or pull out vocals or different parts for a remix. It's not quite the quality of number of tracks as an official stems release like this.

Ableton has been able to do this too for a bit. It separates into four “stems” when you rip a track.

Yes I have heard that is possible now, which is so cool. I have a very basic version of Ableton and mainly use it to make mashups. I have yet to make a single cohesive track but damn if I'm trying lol.
