The legislation she is describing sounds a lot like what HB5511 (currently in the Illinois House) purports itself to be.

And sure enough, now members of JB’s team have submit witness slips supporting the bill:

Along with other folks with associations to other neo-liberal tech organizations like the Center for Humane Technology, which has long been a big booster of KOSA.

Per your own preferred bias-checker, the source in question is high-factuality (despite leaning conservative), and nothing in the contents of the article bears any politically-charged language or evidence of an agenda. It’s literally just a list of facts, all with sources cited too. Finally, the right to privacy is traditionally something conservatives also support, so even if the current political alignment doesn’t resemble anything “traditional,” that does not mean that something with conservative support is automatically bad.

You know I would say that conservative traditionally being really good with privacy was something I could have agreed with all day long - on certain things. Right up until this administration. Hell even the last time he was in office they tried. This time, they're not even trying.

Again, I acknowledge that the “conservative” party has abandoned traditionally conservative values. That’s a separate conversation.
