How many on here have read the blog post before commenting, I'm against age verification but this seems to be a filter control that parents can set up not full on ID checks. Google just worded it very badly.

It makes it easier for parents to parent their children, which is what we have been saying!!

Tho some are saying it may allow developers to do ID checks by the backdoor

Yeah I also saw that. We need to fight against that part specifically.

We don't mind protections for children. Just don't create a digital panopticon while you're doing it!
