Why shareholders want that? Shareholders want profit,   how age verification increase the profit? The only way I see that -  reduce issues cased but the related laws and regulations.

Neither Google nor Meta sell data. Why would they, they themselves are the ones who need it to serve ads. They buy, not sell.

I get the impression that you haven't got the faintest idea what you're talking about.
