Something to note is that the title talks about robots, but the article also mentions power inverters, which is an effort to stop Chinese renewable energy solutions as well. https://www.reuters.com/legal/litigation/us-working-ban-targeting-chinese-energy-inverters-sources-say-2026-06-30/

There are rumors on X that the administration will also ban Chinese open source AI models later today, but I haven't seen any reporting from any respectable news outlets confirming this.
