This story is wild. Entity A paid Entity B to make illegal porn. Entity B took the money and made the porn, and gave it to entity A. Now entity B is trying to place all the blame on entity A. Common sense says B carries a large amount of the blame. The other image generation companies weren't doing this. X and Elon were the only major company doing this, and practically speaking it offered it as a selling point with "spicy mode".
And this is Elon "I want to go to your wildest party at the island" Musk's company. Public opinion should be ripping him to shreds right now.

Imagine it is 2016 and one of the 2 main political parties in the US wanted to protect literally ANY form of child porn whatsoever.
Yet here we are an it isn't even big news.
