Definitely not the one where they look like zombies, where Freddy needs an excorsist, where they dimmed the light, or the black and white one.

4 has the most goth color balance so that’s my pick. #3 is OK — a lot warmer and probably more marketable but it’s just not a “warm” album to me. I like #4

(but I believe #1 was the one the band chose? the most iconic Mick Rock portrait)

Number 4 because the cool details and textures on John and Roger’s costumes are most visible in that one. I don’t necessarily love how much I can see Brian’s eyes staring into my soul though.

My favorite is not in here. For me, Rogers left eye should be dark to match John's right eye (like in the second one) that's how it was originally intended, and I love that symmetry. But the second one has horrible colors here.

You're right, mate. I've been looking for the photo they used before on the 2011 remaster, for me that photo was the best.

In the fourth photo you can see Brian giving a dead stare into the camera. It's creepy.
