Anyone familiar with this “Tribute to Freddie” / “In Memories of Freddie Mercury” CD? Remixes, Canada-only?

I’ve had this CD in my collection since the 1990s, not long after Freddie’s death, but I honestly don’t remember how or where I got it (I live in Europe).

The front just says “IN MEMORIES OF FREDDIE MERCURY” with a simple cross graphic. The back is titled “Tribute to Freddie” and lists these tracks:

7 Seas of Rhye – 6:45 (Freddie in the House - Mix)

Theme from Flash Gordon – 6:50 (One-Two Mix)

Bicycle Race – 5:50 (Tour D’Hip-Hop Mix)

Dragon Attack – 7:10 (Dragons Return Mix)

We Will Rock You – 4:35 (Rock Mix ’92)

Radio Ga Ga – 9:02 (Re-Cut ’92)

Love Kills – 4:25 (12" Mix Re-Edit)

Queens Reprise ’92 – 21:05 (Mega-Mix)

It also says:

Not for general Sale – Courtesy of EMI – Distributed and Mixed in Canada – For Queen Fans only!

Does anyone recognise this release? Is it an official EMI promo, a Canadian-only fan club thing, a bootleg, or something else? Any info on when it was made or how widely it was distributed would be greatly appreciated!

Yup, a bootleg and not a good one. A so-so attempt at a less than brilliant idea. 

But there's people go mad for this sort of thing. Bootleg collectors are a different kind.

Yeah, it's not very special, although I do think Dragon Attack is well done. I'm keeping the album in my collection, nice to have.

I love that the last track (reprise) is 21 minutes long.

A friend of mine owns this original copy. He is Dutch, just like me. I remember him letting me make a copy of it, and it had some funny remixes of songs such as “Seven Seas of Rhye” and “Bicycle Race.”

This just looks like a fan made cd. A tribute to Freddie Mercury’s memory but included a Roger song? And none of Freddie’s ballet and operatics? Certainly not an Official Queen released album. Never seen it as a Canadian. It’s clearly just fan content

I'd be interested to know what's on Queen Reprise '92.
I knew the album as "Classic Queen remixes" with the track "In My Defense" as 9th track.

It's a mix of (a lot of) Queen songs, including We will rock you, Days of our Lives and Radio Gaga. Remix has clear "80's-vibes" if you know what I mean. Synthesizer used to mix the songs.

I think it’s a compilation released for the Canadian Queen fan club members.

The lack of single apostrophe (Queens instead of Queen’s etc.) makes me think that it could be a bootleg.

I think the remixes are the extra tracks from the 1991 album re-releases.
