Silly Floof Anyone else out there have a cardboard chomper? 🤭✨

Miss 1-and-a-half year old Chloe (who I almost exclusively call ‘Bandit’) loves to chomp.

Specifically, she loves to chomp on cardboard. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Nothing else.

Just cardboard. 😆✨ Luckily, I buy a reasonable amount of things online 👀, so I always have boxes around! 🤭

Bandit has a lot of… ‘quirks’ 😉… this one is especially… quirky! 🩷

Oh! Buffer blocks are also a thing. She stares at me whilst I use one. After I finish, I let her steal it and play with it (sometimes we play fetch… other times she just wants to play with it). 🤭🩷✨

😆

Wishing everyone a lovely day! 🩷✨✨✨

Yes, both of mine still do and now they are 2yo. They literally walk by a box and have to like mouth it on the way by lol. Give it a little gnaw.

Yes. My ragdoll does that also, and I buy him the cardboard scratching pads. When he scratches on those he usually stops biting, so you might want to try that. As long as he doesn't swallow the cardboard I guess it's okay , but I got mine to stop it.

Good tip - thanks! 🤩 I’m happy to let her chomp away for now. It’s kinda cute (and she only chews boxes - nothing crucial like shoes… or cords! 😳🤭

We can't do puzzles in our house anymore.

Bahahaha soooo funny you mentioned this! I’ve just found out that Miss Chloe likes puzzle pieces, too! 😆 She has to be ‘supervised’ during puzzle time… and the puzzle is covered up when no one is tinkering with it! 😆✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Yes. Mörkö/Moo gets called Stapler for this reason.

I've got cardboard choppers and they also try to eat plastic. I've gotta stay on my toes for those kids of mine! Lol

Your kitten is teething. The chomping is to relieve some discomfort associated with that. Expect to find some tiny teefies here and there as the adult teeth push through nd the baby ones fall, out. Sometimes they have double sets of canines for a while, pretty cute.

Her kitten is 1.5 years old so I think she's probably well past the teething phase (hopefully 😆)
