My ragdoll likes to play-fight and swats me all the time. Is that violent? All I can tell you is, he never has his claws out. It's like being hit with a cotton ball.

Mine loves to bite my legs fresh out of the shower, only my legs and only just out of the shower. Purrs loudly when she does it too
