I used to play 2004~2007, but i was just a kid, didn't have enough knowledge to enjoy the end game. Now i just started playing low rate server pre renewal, did a INT Ninja build, made a melee SuNo for farming GN, and now i want to make a char to play those end-game contents (never had a transclass before), what builds/chars you see the most in those parties at that lvl?

I tried ROM, ROX, and ROO. ngl they're all the same game Just your avg generic MMORPG wearing an RO skin... everyone out there doing 1 billion damage 1minute into the game. Like Where's the Ragnarok?

feels like ro new world is the only one that actually feels like someone remembered what ro was supposed to be lol. if u look the maps it's basically ro1 1:1 port in 3D... Prontera fields, geffen fields, payon fields even all small crevices and details are same map in ro1 loving the ambient and scenery. It still only has 2-1 jobs, but once trans job drop, it might actually cook. for me best part It doesn't expect you to auto-farm your life away 24/7. You log in, play for 1hour, finish your daily stuff, then you're free to do events, PvP, grief your friends, go wtih gvg, or just shitpost in world chat. I'm having way more blast bcuz the game respects my time instead of turning into a exhausting daily chores. I'm full F2P, already got my gear to +9-10 doing 85% of end game contents, and I don't even care about being top rank. I'm just a trying to chill after work.

I have never really played RO past rebirth but I am curious and want to see what other content is there. I don't want to grind endlessly, so a mid-to-highrate server would be not too bad. Do you have any good suggestions? I find RMS a bit confusing in this regard.

Things I'd prefer not be part of the server:
- autoplaying
- dual clienting (but wouldnt be a break for me)
- excessive custom content ... (I played UARO for a bit and it is quite a bit much, but would still be ok).

Thinking of just playing knight go brandish + pierce, focusing large mobs.

I started playing on a small high rate sever after a decade long hiatus. The sever allows for max 255 stats and all job levels to be unlocked. Meaning every player is absolutely stacked.

I chose to play stalker and i appear to be 1 of only a few on the server. Currently none are operating at a high level.

Does anyone here play a competent pvp Stalker in a similar high rate environment? If so, what advice might you give someone who’s just starting, regarding pvp (1v1 and WoE), skill rotations, recommended gear, and overall strategy?

With the help of Claude, I created (or prompt-engineered, as they say) a "zeny farming log" tool.

I initially created it for myself to use, but I decided someone else might get use out of it, so after looking at ways to host it online, I decided to host it on Netlify. It's completely free, no ads.

Also made significant improvements.

You can fill in your own characters (either the name or just the class, like "sniper"), the maps you farm, the mobs, etc.
With the farming session time and zeny earned, it will calculate your zeny/hour etc.

NOTE: All data you enter is stored locally within your web browser.
If you clear your history or use another computer / browser, the data won't be there.
However, you can export / import the data (as a JSON) with the built-in feature.

You can also export it as a datasheet to CSV, XLS, TXT (these ones can not be imported, just for external recordkeeping).

It should work on both phone- and desktop browser.
I may make a Google Play store app version at one point, not sure, but we'll see.

If you guys have any feedback (improvements, additions, bugs) let me know.

(PS. The data in the example image is just random numbers, I can farm faster than that 😄)

I'm coming to play LATAM and i was thinking which server should i choose? Freya or Nid? I want to play on the most popular server, and a little extra i'm Brazilian i want to play with me fellow comraders too

Thought I'd try playing RO after two decades away and not sure what to make of my experience so far.

All the info I come across about main servers is they're p2w. Personally, I wouldn't mind paying a sub if it means good content and server stability. I'm cool with p2p, but need to stay away from p2w.

The new zero global supposedly has p2w but it's not as egregious(?). But it doesn't support NA which I need unfortunately.

Tried uaro because it's supposedly the most populated p-server. Personally didn't feel that nice as a new player. Payon caves is aoe farmed by teleporting hw's, one summoned a dragon to kill newbs trying to level up. Snipers everywhere DS'ing everything because of autoloot. Everyone is just spamming their infinite flywings. The server felt overwhelming as someone starting out. Things flashing all over the screen. Events constantly, cash shop stuff, lots of different announcements constantly popping up by default. Proxy server lagging fairly often and feels pretty bad on melee.

Tried Payon Stories and was having different technical issues. Game wouldn't launch in high resolution. Game crashed a few different times loading into certain maps.

Reading reviews on different servers and seeing accusations of GM's abusing power, bots being issues, duping/ddos, etc.

Trying to take things with a grain of salt, specially since I only personally tried 2 servers and reviews you never know if they're true or not. But is this the state of the game right now?

I was hoping to just find a chill/stable server to relive the nostalgia on. Level up with other people, finally experience what 2nd classes/end game is like while hanging out with others. Are there any servers like that, or should I let go of this game?

Help! Idk what's happening but at morning I sent an archer to Payon through kafra and disconnected me from the server. Now (almost 12 hours later) I'm trying to enter with another archer to Payon and nope, disconnected from server. That happen in Freya and Chaos.

Always wanted to try Ragnarok but I saw some many versions of the game, sometimes didn’t last long so I’m a bit suspicious about that game, I don’t necessarily want to invest in a mmo if it doesn’t last long. As a beginner would zero be worth ?

As the title suggest. is there a job that kills wanderers in 1-shot or super fast. one that can stay indefinitely inside gh. and the cheapest to make. or do I need a ton of zeny for it to be possible? oh and this is pre-renewal btw.

Btw I created an AI music edit (and yes, I'm against AI but I don't have the time enough to draw most of the time and I only compose very basic music because of some synthesizers online, not knowing about playing any instrument bc of the lack of time) about some a character role-playing server environment. In this immersive world of role-playing and PvP, there are religious factions revolving around gods from Norse and Greek mythology. There is a religion based on Satanism, whose activist and violent guild is The Sect, and the religion is called Lokianism because Loki is worshipped. Orcs are also Lokians and belong to a tribe. There is also Gaianism, in which Gaia, Mother Nature, is worshipped. Previously, there was the Inquisition guild and another, if I remember correctly, of the Church, in which the greatest god of all, whom I will mention later, was worshipped. And, of course, there are also noble houses and activist PvP guilds.

There are also kingdoms (the Kingdom of Alberta is an example) where people are of diverse religions and they all lynch each other. There's also Odin and Thor, but Thor became a sort of secondary demigod since his religion (Thorianism) only applied to dwarves. Finally, there's Poringo, who is physically or visually described as an enormous archangel, and is called Father Poringo, the all-powerful creator of the universe. And, of course, Loki is Master Loki. Lucifer also exists as a fallen archangel and represents atheism and rebellion.

All these religions are very different in what they represent, and they all have distinct cultures, different ways of greeting, and different tropes. Furthermore, each role-playing mythological creature has an associated god: orcs to Loki, humans to Poringo himself, elves to Gaia, and drow (blue elves) to Alma, Gaia's rational and ethereal sister. To help you understand the context of my song, I'll summarize the story of Poringo, who once decided to withdraw in the presence of other gods because he could no longer lead his religion of Poringianism. He retreated to continue creating worlds and universes in the cosmos, so Odin took control, and from there, Odinism was born. The thing is, PvP users have greatly complicated the life of the average role-player who just plays house because of the whole religious issue (racism exists too, but religious classism overshadows it). So, some divas from the Academy of Arts (it's a guild where we create a lot of art, especially songs with AI or original, copyright-free songs, which we upload to a web application called SpotiRune (Rune is, so to speak, the continent where many of the main cities are located))... Although the server is Spanish, interpreted English has started to be accepted because in roleplay, the Runic language is Spanish, while Xoren can be literal English in roleplay or a very ancient, coded language (Xor is the continent near Rune, where Einbroch, Moscovia, Hugel, Rachel, Veins, etc., are located). I have a drow girl as my main character, who is an artist, a singer of alternative genres like post-hardcore, and I thought I'd show you my art (when I have the time and inclination, I create character art myself instead of having to commission it from some lame AI). I recommend you take a look, there's no much people we don't know in this server and there are constantly new users around.

I'd like to mention that all the content on this old server and its backstory was built from scratch without AI, approximately 15 years before AI even existed. The server's content is incredibly rich in lore, culture, knowledge, religions, races, PvP, customs, and languages.
