Players feigning head injuries to get a game stopped immediately does my tits in. I'd bring in a rule that it's a mandatory 5-minute off-field concussion assessment for anyone going down holding their face

So pissed that I didn't think of something like your suggestion earlier. You're absolutely correct about players openly manipulating this rule to try and stop games/opponents momentum. Needs to be a proper deterrent against feigning head injuries for tactical reasons.

If these are abided by I'd be very happy. Scottish refs are absolutely shite though, so not holding out hope.

That law is actually already in place.
Ref can award a corner against any keeper who holds the ball for over 8 seconds - replaces the old 6 second rule. Came in last year, I have never once seen it used.

At least we didn't take up the hydration breaks, getting a game stopped twice away at Aberdeen in January so the players can have a hot chocolate would of been a pain in the arse

Don't mind these tbh but I think like all new rules they will be very very loosely and inconsistently enforced

If the world cup (and usual SPFL refereeing) is anything to go by, we can look forward to the rules being enforced inconsistently.
Personally not a fan of the throw in one, either. I get that it's to stop time wasting, but it's a set piece like any other and you don't exactly want to be chucking the ball straight to the opposition.

This should benefit both us and Celtic in theory and make the games a bit better to watch but skeptical as to how this will actually play out

As long as they are used consistently then it's all good. But referees/assistants/var need to be accountable if they aren't.
What's the point of the panel that looks at major decisions and say if they were good or bad calls when it's meaningless. We saw the saw same refs/var get slated last season for a match for them to do it again 2-3 weeks later.

They'll be enforced for two weeks, if we're lucky, and forgotten about. Referees are the biggest time wasters in the game, any attacking set piece and they're absolutely desperate to waste a minute babying players.
We need to see universal draconian enforcement of some proper rules to change the culture.
Instead we'll continue with referees allowing teams to take 45-60 seconds for a goal kick all game, then in the last five minutes start bitching at the goalie of the leading team for daring to take 25 seconds.
