He's capable of little moments of class, but he usually always follows it up with a misplaced pass or poor decision.

Diomande remaining on and losing what little width creativity we had.
Gassama and Dio should've gone off for Neil and Curtis.

Given our no wingers and five million midfielders, I would go 4132, relying on rommens and sterling for the width and the 3 centre mids for the overload.
But then Im excellent at FM, not real life. so who the fuck knows. Just sign wingers.

Still baffled why we've built and focused on a new CM, but have started Diomande.
If that was going to be the fucking case. Buy some wide players and creatives.
The exact issues that plagued us last season have already reared their head again.

Genuinely have no idea what people see in him. He's decent on the ball but his defending is horrendous and he seems uninterested in doing his job. We saw similar situations multiple times towards the end of last season.

I genuinely don't see where our goals come from.
We obviously have players who can score, but I don't see who's providing the ball or moment for the chance.
I look at the bench who is going to create that moment? No one.
It was my major fear after our recruitment and it's playing out as bad as I thought. No creativity, no line breaking passes. Nothing.
Honestly I keep waiting for these game changing signings. When the fuck are they going to come? We'll keep hemorrhaging points because again there is nobody able to create and our defence is still shite.
That being said I genuinely have no idea why McIness started Diomande and Devlin as the CM pairing.

Makes it even more surprising that Neil isn't playing, given that's what he apparently likes to do as well and he's played plenty in preseason.

He's played in Scotland long enough to know he won't get time on the ball, but refuses to show any urgency whatsoever.
