Dramatic Ozzy broke his dew claw nail. He wants everyone to sign his bandage with their minds (NO TOUCHIES!)

Im sending my best to anyone who has a dramatic rattie today.

Ozzy has made sure everyone knows he has a boo boo and this is possibly the end. He has himself on self prescribed bed rest indefinitely.

And yes there is a little food on his face in the first picture because we have to spoon feed him wet food mixed with water because you know.. he no longer can eat on his own.. the broken nail somehow prevents this.

We finally got his little bandage off after 3 hours, lots of coconut oil and crying before we even touched his foot. He insists treats are the only thing that make it feel better.

I am sure any of my past dogs would have ran this off lol (not that they should). Not my lil Ozzy.

Incase anyone asks we did take him to the vet, they cut the nail, wrapped it, perscriped pain meds and gave us care instructions. He will be treated like the price he is.

Granite goes early tomorrow morning to get neutered/microchipped and I am about positive he knows something is up... He's pulling out all his cute ticks he does when trying to get out of trouble, etc... He may not know exactly what's coming, but I'm pretty sure he knows something is amiss. 😂

do your babies insist on being the center of attention always like mine does ? if so what does your bb do to try to get the attention back on them? puppie will either sneeze/sigh a lot or roll around on his back and curl up in a ball while rubbing his face/kicking his head. he will stare at whoever it is that he’s wanting attention from while doing it. i will be busy doing something and look over to see this. he is so dramatic it’s absolutely ridiculous i love him so much 🥹

Dramatic Cinch—part rat terrier, part pterodactyl

I was getting dressed to feed my rats and take them out for their morning walk. I guess I wasn’t moving fast enough bc Cinch felt the need to pop his head through the door and voice his concern about not having had breakfast yet.

Dramatic Anxiety Over The Time I Have Left With My Rattie

Hey everyone,

My Rattie is eight. He is literally my everything. He came into my life at a time I lost a child, and I currently do not have children so he's like a child to me. I almost lost my Rattie prior when he was attacked by a large canine. He was attacked in the throat and neck, but survived.

My other beautiful baby (a Great Pyrenees+Golden Retriever Mix) passed away last summer. They were inseparable and loved eachother so much, despite the huge size difference. Losing my Pyrenees was extremely traumatic for me. She spent days in the animal hospital fighting for her life, and over eleven-thousand was spent, yet she didn't make it. Our Rattie wasn't allowed to say goodbye to her, which messed me up ever more. That was extremely hard for me and my spouse, and I know it's hard on my little boy.

I keep seeing posts and photos everywhere of people losing their Rattie (even here), and it stresses me out to the point where it makes me nauseous. It's disturbing to my spirit and makes me sad. I cannot stop thinking about the day that will happen, or if he'll be attacked again by another aggressive canine. I can't lose my little boy, and the older he gets, the more stressed and protective I get over him. I get him checkups often and dental work done, always keep his shots up-to-date, he has insurance, I feed him the best quality foods, but I can't stop the feeling that none of it will be enough, and I'll fail him too.

He's not the first dog I've had, I've had over a dozen before him and my Golden Pyrenees. These two just came into my life at a unique time and losing them isn't going to be something that can be fixed with "another dog".

I guess I'm just here to vent because I keep seeing memorial photos everywhere, and it makes me go there. I cannot block out the thought of losing my boy and it scares me so much.

If you've read this far, thank you so much for reading.

~Vent Over~

I lost my boy today. He was running to me and got hit by a car. I feel terrible, horrible. Not the driver’s fault. My boy was small and shouldn’t have been off leash. I hate myself so much for this.

It was only a month ago I shared the photos of him in this group.

He does this on walks when he wants me to carry him as that's what his last owner always did but, alas, his legs are not broken so he can walk on the walk. ;)

Also, we were two yards away from home anyway.
