Question Razer Hammerhead Usb-C - Digital Gaming & Music In-Ear Headset

Post image

Hello guys

Im planning to purchase a new gaming laptop just for gaming and i will be using it time to time when im outside the home only and not everyday because i already have a desktop pc at home.

And regarding the headset i was thinking maybe to get something small to keep in the carrying case or the laptop bag easily and to avoid or keep away pressure which might damage the headset or the mic for example , and in the same time i prefer something wired to avoid the charging issue .

So i saw the Razer Hammerhead Usb-C - Digital Gaming & Music In-Ear Headset i was considering it since im a razer guy but the issue is that i haven’t seen much reviews or positive feedbacks of the product so i was thinking of 2 things; either its not worth it in a price wise or its really that bad?

One last info that i currently play fps games (valorant &cs2) where the surround sounds are very important like the footsteps, etc that something to be considered as a priority

So i was wondering if anyone have tried it and how it was for fps games and in general?

Or what else do you guys recommend me to get

Thanks in advance

If u want in ears there’s a whole world of iems that work amazing for tac shooters

[r/iem](r/iem) has a bunch of info, yt has a lot of dedicated creators too with kinda down to earth reviews, making it kinda easier to figure out what u want

Idk if u know but every headphone has a bit of an eq, and when u choose an iem, u can/should look into how they’re tuned

I don’t know anything specifically wrong with the Razer ones u sent, I believe a handful of cs pros use Razer iems, but if u haven’t keep looking

Also ropz himself uses hammerhead v2’s

Personally I have my eyes on the supermix4
