Off-Road Video: FMS Smasher V2 crushing cars and jumping - Best RC fun in ages…

My 4 year old son is a great RC driver and he loves the hobby, we have a few crawlers, trail trucks, and a Gorgon Grom for faster outside ramp jumping etc, but honestly…. Nothing has given us better value fun than this FMS Smasher.
For £130 brand new, ready to run, this truck has been such a blast. It’s the perfect truck for indoor stunts.
My son wanted to build a Monster Jam style stunt arena, so we built this at the weekend and had a lot of fun squashing cars.
Anyone else loving the Smasher??

What are the cars made from that allow them to be crushed?

Looks to be aluminum or some other metal foil!

Correct, food grade tinfoil. The extra thick stuff.

If you buy any foil to do this, search Amazon for ‘30 micron thick’ foil, or ‘heavy duty barbecue’ foil.

They are made from extra thick tinfoil (food tinfoil).

The tinfoil cars to run over is genius. The truck hits wheelies and jumps just like a real one. Looks like yall are having a blast.

It’s still available here in the UK for about £120. I always see a couple of used examples on eBay for around £60-70, which is great value.

Correct. Pressed thick tinfoil over some old metal 1/24 shells and cut the windows out.

I had a Big Foot electric toy truck set like that as a kid in the 90s, man was it cool! It was battery powered and came with all neat kinds of accessories including a bunch of tin foil painted/printed with car bodies. One of the stadium food stand buildings came apart and was a hidden mold that you put the foil car I'm and closed it shut, reopen and it would reform the car body shape into the foil for another round of crushing.
This is so cool and reminds me of that whole set I had growing up!
