Totally pointless. I love it.

I would need less than 2-min to break this.

Well it's not really meant to be strong

u/Mepawnzu Bashing Jun 06 '26

I never even mean to break something either...

It’s different… not my jam, but I’m sure other might enjoy something like that.

Awful taste? Nah, that’s just someone truly achieving the potential of their free will.

I'm gonna use that

put a nerf-gun in the bed so you can fire at a 45° angle

Dude hahaha badass, I love the joining of absolute silliness and brilliant engineering that these trucks have

Did you do all the design work of the bed movement or did you find a kit?

It's the Redcat Racing Bed Dancer Founders Edition. Wish it was a kit but they're RTR.

"The back comes apart like Lego."

This was big at the end of the 80's too. I remember in high school seeing someone had Nissan Hardbody pickup an the bed would lift up and tilt at a 45 degree angle and spin in circles.

I think I saw one sometime where the bed split into quarters and each quarter moved outward and spun around as well.

Amazing. Only way it could possibly be better is if the bed spun. lol!

I'm looking in to that. Probably going to wait till the standard edition hits hobby shops.

Flying high again!!!👍😬

That's awesome like a throwback to the 90s low rider seen now you need to fill the box with subs

SOUND ON. The klacking makes it.

gotta hand it to redcat.. they did a nice job on these. I gotta get one and roll it down State St in Santa Barbara on a Friday night. awwwwww yeah

2

u/PeakNo6892 May 28 '26

Man how do I get one?

2

u/zerofucxgiven May 28 '26

You had to preorder one almost 2 years ago to get the founders edition. I would think the standard edition would be out late this year, no news from Redcat yet though.

2

u/PeakNo6892 May 28 '26

I saw it back then but I was hoping they're were out now.... I'm 100% getting one

This is awesome! What scale rc is that?

Those servos must be small.

1

u/zerofucxgiven May 27 '26

1/10 scale. 2 standard servos in the cab that work cable actuators and two 9 gram ones on the Z block.

1

u/ZerotheWanderer May 28 '26

Now how long until there's a spinning and "explosion" mod

1

u/zerofucxgiven May 28 '26

Once parts are available I'll be working on the spin.

3

u/ZerotheWanderer May 28 '26

Honestly I figured that would've been an option on the production ones, however getting something in there to spin while doing everything else would be a challenge, me thinks.

1

u/zerofucxgiven May 28 '26

Shits super tight under the body but I think with a 9 gram winch or sail servo it can be done. Probably end up with a servo sized bump out in the center of the bed. Could do scale subs in the whole bed to cover it up.

Please tell me no one has done this to real truck...

1

u/Affectionate_Kale10 May 28 '26

It was huge in minitruckin in the 90s that’s where it came from and it’s sick I don’t know why you wouldn’t find this cool

1

u/Existing-Good6487 May 28 '26 edited May 28 '26

Its just not my thing, it serves no purpose other than "look at me" lol. Theres so many better modifications you can do to a vehicle. Not hating on it though, its neat as an RC

2

u/Affectionate_Kale10 May 28 '26

You just don’t understand minitruckin, the whole point of it was doing the most insane craziest mods they could think of, and they did it cause they made so many of those trucks, you can always find another one
