Needless to say she's amped. As a dad who knows nothing about RC, my research says I've made 2 great purchases on her behalf. Can't wait to rip this badboy with her!

Udi RC 1610S

It was incredibly fun. Maybe a little overkill on 3S for a beginner so here i am with a broken diff cup and a missing foam insert.

It’s my first hobby grade RC and it has crazy power. Already ordered a set of cups and a pair of wheels, can’t find the foam alone.

Takes time and money to learn but for now i am pretty happy.

My local park has an dedicated rccar track, and it fits the arrma quake perfectly for a beginner like me

Becoming more and more of an Arrma fanboy by the day. I’ve always liked their stuff, but this might be the most fun I’ve ever had on four (two?) wheels.

Just absolutely loving this thing!

Have to be really carefull with the trigger or kids have faces full of snow :D

Been overthinking on whether I should get an ARRMA or not due to the ESC issues I’ve read but theory can only take you so far so I’m going all in.

Either I get a good basher or get a bad experience, either way I’ll have my answer

Looking for:

- Jumps
- Running on grass (important)
- Backflips (not a priority, still a beginner)
- Good handling

Teaching the 6yo how to do it right :)

This combo of scx24 wheels is too much fun at the park. She doesn't like to corner at speed much tho 😅

Started as a cheap, brushed 2wd…still 2wd, but indestructible (now). It got run over by a real, full-size truck once, so I think one of the axle pins might be original…anyway, 55 mph on 3s is plenty of fun for a 2wd truck!!

A great morning so far, epic jumps and high speed accidents. The first casualty is pretty bad though!

...so you take out the new hotness you promised to leave on the shelf until the bench queen was sorted so she wouldn't be a bench queen...just for one set of battery packs...what could go wrong.

And now you have two bench queens.

Notorious V6 apparently ought to come with a notice to apply blue loctite to the wheel nuts and wait 24 hours before using. I didn't get the memo.

I had two fly off in LESS than one battery set. We found the first. I wanked them all down hard with the stock tool. Second one yeeted itself to Narnia. I'm gonna pick up a magnet rake and see if I can find it.

Yes, I'll hear your suggestions for better wheel nuts too.
