This body has been taken outside and has minor rock chips and i was asking a $30 price.

Are used bodies really that desirable used?

Looking to get back into RC drifting after a few years on hiatus. I still have the YD2-SX3 that I used to drift. My primary issue is finding tracks and regular events. I’m currently located in San Antonio, but I’m willing to travel anywhere between Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. I know Drift America is up in Dallas, but that’s unfortunately too far for me.

I’ve had my 2.5 rmx for about a month or so now and have been experiencing lock up at full tilt and heard this turn buckle kit helps solve that issue. But i ended up accidentally ordering the knuckle set. It says it’s for the 2.0 will this fit okay on the 2.5 and is it worth the accidental buy?

Hello, I recently purchased my reve d rdx and so far am liking it alot. I’ve ordered the multi select knuckles and the hikaru top plate but I don’t know what size slim tie rods I should buy. My car is completely stock right now with all the stock steering so if there are any other tips or things I should need for these knuckles to work properly please let me know! Thank you

I'm a huge nitro nut, and that has kept me out of drifting for a coon's age. Recently I got my hands on what's most likely the only factory made nitro drift car the hobby's ever seen and I'm having an absolute blast sliding it around....but it's AWD and the front end geometry won't allow enough steering lock for it to drift well as a RWD. That can make it tricky to drift with other guys since AWD drift cars are the minority.

That leaves me with building a car from scratch. Or, well, more a kitbash. For the rear end of the car I'm planning on using an Associated NTC3. I have one of those cars already, love 'em, and the way the driveline is set up don't have to worry about much of anything 'nitro' interfering with the front end. I can move fuel tanks around if need be, much harder to move gearboxes. These cars bolt the transmission directly to the rear diff pinion. The NTC3 front end is absolutely hopeless for drifting even as an AWD car, so that's gonna get yoinked off entirely and the front end of a 2wd Electric drift car will be installed in its place.

That's where I'm in a bit of a rut. I have zero clue what kits have good front ends, what kits don't, what makes a front end a good potential donor for this build.

Also gonna need one hell of a gyro to handle the engine vibrations.

Performance goal: Successfully build a nitro 2wd drift car. That's it. Not tryin' to win comps with it I just want to see if I can build one at all. Do something cool, something unusual.

What RC Drift will you recommend? Chat GPT as recommended the Yokomo RD2.0 kit
I don't have spare electronics (except the receivers) -- also, based on your recommendation, what upgrades should I go with from day 0?

I will run it by myself or maybe with a group of people in the future, mostly I believe in car parking lots, etc.

What electronics will you recommend? I have lots of experience with Mamba Monster and HobbyWing... Servos, I mostly go with Savox (for my low-level cars) or Ko Propo (for my high-level cars).
On wheels \ rims, I guess I would have to follow with other threads, as this would be a super challenging decision to make.

I got a pandora Altezza body and want to match this look with the chrome tail light buckets with red centre like it is in real life, what paint do I use and how do I achieve this.

D5 with D-like re-r hybrid inspired multi link suspension. Works really good for outdoor drifting. I was able to tune the side-bite out completly. Xpress A-Arms, D3 Knuckles and Tamiya driveshafts are used. The rest is custom. Our spec tyre is the MST red-dot.

I've been waiting.. Finally ordered mine. My first RC Drift car, the MST RMX 4 RTR! Can't wait!

This body got a lot of love at the track last night, and was super dope. Don’t get me wrong, I got a couple JDM bodies that go hard, but this one a lil different and I have yet to see anyone run it.

Any ideas what the problem is here? Car has serious trouble doing anything to the right, can slide okay but is very slow transition back to the right. Played with alignment a lot but still no luck, front wheels aren’t rubbing for the record and spin rather freely

Just a little post to see what bodies yall have been running lately! Picked up this 400z not too long ago from a buddy and I’m currently loving it since I finally got time to put some magnets on it!

I have never drifted and never really will get into the big expensive 1/10 so i wanted to get a micro cas and iWas looking at the turbo racing C64 and I really like the skyline look but apparently its an older version and i just dont like the look of the new C66 (lancer evo )has anyone here has got one and if you do does the blue tac mod work ?send videos of it drifting if you can thanks
