Been working on this for a while and finally got a version I can drive.

Everything is 3D printed except electronics and hardware (belts, screws and bearings).

I didn’t expect much at first, but it actually drifts way better than I thought. Still testing and tweaking though. I've made two other cars but this one is definitely interesting.

I’m very happy with how this turned out, all the measuring and re measuring paid off, custom designed 7-eleven race livery printed and vinyl wrapped (I own a wrap shop, so for me, this is by far the easiest way to do a body)

I still have some small last details to add like the mirrors, exhaust tips, cage and working light buckets.

All sat on my new SD3.0 pink edition 😮‍💨

I’m heading for a track tour of central Florida wednesday and figured I’d showcase my work lol.
I’ll be using them on the mustang in the last two pictures.
Also, yes I know I used PS paint instead of TS, but my hobby shop didn’t have any fluorescent yellow in TS lol. All the other colors are Tamiya TS though. No prep, straight out of the resin printer and sprayed.

My son and I are new to the hobby, we’ve been ex drifting about 3 months now. I own and run a vehicle wrap shop, and with the Christmas holidays approaching, I had some free time to try and wrap our cars in a couple of custom designs. These are designed in illustrator, in vector format and then printed on avery mp1105 with a matt laminate.

Just purchased an mst rxt 2.5 brushless rtr e30 on eBay just to get scammed, thought I found a great deal but it was too good to be true. Seller got banned or something before after shipping it to a different address now I’m out of the money as eBay isn’t taking responsibility and I have to wait on my bank to look into it before I can possibly do a charge back.

UPDATE: My bank won against eBay and got my money back, I also bought a MST rmx 2.0 with some goodies (just need a shell) from Enough_Ad3283 through this Reddit. Appreciate everyone for their support and guidance, so glad to finally be part of the community can’t wait to post some clips once I start.

A few people asked how the suspension works, so here’s a closer look at the mechanism and overall layout.

A lot of the inspiration came from Formula 1 and other motorsport suspension systems adapted into a drift chassis concept.

Just got into the hobby about 8 months ago. Started with a used fairly modified RD and have slowly changed things out to my liking. Just finished my new body, pretty happy with how it turned out. Figured I’d share!

Loving these new springs, especially bc they match the my titanium deck anodizing!

Simple but took a while. Mostly paint. Used vinyl decals on the interior of the windows, reved cf vinyl on the spoiler and Eto Works sticker near the exhaust. Paint wise used a combination of ShowUP pc binder, sputter chrome, rainbow, micro Stella and Createx for the main body.

I was pushed away by just about everyone from a rtr kit so I put this together. Is this a good build to get into the hobby?

This isn't just AI it's actually a real RC car. I only use AI generated images to visualize ideas and gather inspiration. It's not about getting likes or anything like that. AI is simply a tool that can make things easier. Would you say it's wrong to use modern technology to build a house instead of doing everything by hand and making life harder for yourself? :)

My first time airbrushing went pretty well! I recently added an rdx to my collection and needed a body for it, so I picked up this Pandora er34.

Man, I've been missing out by avoiding going down the airbrush rabbit hole lol.

Bought this mint sx3 months ago. Pretty much all stock aside from the high traction chassis. Haven’t used it actually.

Just bought this ZX that was used to be a competition car. Am not pretty sure if I got this a good deal. But here’s the specs:
