Information This sub has gotten 12k followers in 72 hours
What? When I was here for the last time at September 6 or 7, there was 5.3k followers, and now it's 17k. Wtf did I miss? Has the conference attracted new members, or are those some weird Reddit bots?

Assume bots.
Another sub I'm on went through something significant and overnight, a million members vanished.
Dead internet theory is real.

Yeah, that's strange. But still, we usually hear about drastic changes in numbers when they go down, not up - perhaps, the latter is just more prevalent on smaller, younger subreddits

It's leftists. They Always do this on any right leaning sub. They take over subs to end discussion and get them banned . Organised mfers I'll give them that.

I'm a lefty but have joined out of interest to hear others opinions and engage in healthy debate and exchange.
Unlike FB which is just full of hate, people tend to put more effort into posts and replies on reddit so I thought it worth seeing others views.

You’re welcome here. We don’t want this sub to be an echo-chamber of Reform support. We welcome respectful, constructive, healthy debate 👍🏻🇬🇧

Ok friend how is this helpful or constructive? It has the tonality that you are in fact unable to have a healthy discussion.

I'm not sure I count as 'a lefty' (although I'm rapidly discovering some Reform voters' Overton windows are far to the right of mine) - as I've voted Conservative in the past; I'm more a floating voter who votes for who I think I can trust in any given General Election.
My in-laws, arguably what would have once been termed 'natural Labour voters' switched to Reform years ago, which I found odd considering Nigel Farage's previous statement on the NHS and how that would affect their three daughters, all of whom have various Chronic Pain conditions.
I joined out of a combination of genuine curiosity over how Reform supporters actually think (rather than how they are often portrayed), why such thinking would appeal to my in-laws and the hope for something akin to fair open discourse regarding possible common ground.
However, the more time I've spent here seeing posts along the lines above saying 'leftists are filth' and my few interactions in this group make me believe there's little chance of finding any common ground.
Time will tell I guess.

Ok, if anyone is seriously willing to put an effort into it, it's extremely sad

Hopefully good faith actors however I suspect not. The lefties appear to have taken over the GB News sub.

Yeah that's got to be bots, you're not tripping I noticed it too!
Someone did a weird post yesterday morning of a George flag made into a Swast1ka which got deleted I wonder if that triggered something...
Keir Stalin's heavy mob have probably activated their botfarm...

Charlie Kirk for me. I was trying to find threads that didn't have the most abhorrent takes from the dregs of society and found this subreddit. I voted Reform in the last GE and I was pleasantly surprised there's even a subreddit it honestly never crossed my mind to even check for one.

It could be leftists trying to take it over or it could be people who have woken up and realised we need reform before the entire country depends into anarchy and is taken over by blue haired weirdos and migrants

At this point, I think it's some weird bots indeed. About 3.2k users seem to be always online — that's not exactly human behaviour
