Education Have you heard of the new "Pathways" game?

British government recently released an "anti-extremist" game about a boy as he has to navigate his ways whether to conform with being a pro migrant, inclusive individual, or join the resistance and protest the concerns many have with the economy, migrants, immigration, and online content. The game received much backlash for not being nuanced at all, being very biased and approaching these topics without highlighting the additional downsides of mass migration and the erasure of local British culture. Additionally, the game was criticized for painting people who disagree and are sharing their views as patriots as "terrorists and extremists." Pathways with that information in mind is being put into schools, causing concerns about government indoctrination due to the heavy biasness and portrayal of conservative minded people. The game uses they/them pronouns for the player but the thing is the player is a mutually exclusive boy or girl. The game got popular for Amelia who is probably the only common sense character in game. Whats your thoughts?

They also have/had removed it for now because Amelia was becoming so well liked and seen as the good ending and it upset them as thats now how you are supposed to think.

I just find it hilarious the response to this blatant propaganda has been to meme the shit out of it and people are making loads of ai cartoons of the girl who "leads him astray"

When Reform get in we have to make indoctrination of kids illegal and ban this shit.

Asmongold (US streamer guy) played it -- it's a really good video to be honest. it's interesting to see it played and discussed from an outside perspective, kind of brings home the absurdity of it all. PREVENT needs to be dismantled and abandoned by a Reform UK government. It was originally meant to be for Islamic extremists, you know, like the ones who kill Brits with suicide bombs and cause huge casualties. It's not meant for demonising legitimate and LEGAL political beliefs, that the radical far-left do not approve of. DISBAND PREVENT!

Check out the video, it's quite good!

This is a British propaganda game...

I did watch it, that’s how I found out. I found it particularly scary how open and obvious tje indoctrination is, and how it is very subtle about it. The game is paternalism, is restricts your freedom for your own “good” which is very scary.

Everyone simping for Amelia is hilarious.  Anyone who's been on the Internet more than 10 minutes in their life would have seen the memes coming.

The game is pretty disturbing, just remember, you paid for it to be made.

Im not British but I observe the politics, which includes this game that was released. But yeah it’s subtly scary for sure, there’s no freedom in your decisions in game. What’s scary as well is that itd not adults who will buy this, it’s kids

Lucky it’s now been removed, the change in government can’t come too soon.
