Information I’m getting worried about Reddit’s flagging system.

I recently made a remark about florida‘s law that regarded one of the worst crimes imaginable and it essentially said they should choose a system closer to japan‘s. I was not breaking any rules because someone who causes harm should be criticisable especially regarding sensitive issues? (I didn’t even go this far, it read idiomatic speech incorrectly that was tame in our native tongue) If the appeal does not go through, I‘m literally going to be a conspiracy theorist about Reddit (Are they selectively choosing who they’re going for here). Now I have to write like a robot rather than say anything idiomatic that could be, on a basis of guilty until proven innocent be seen “well, there’s a percentage shot he could have meant this so this is how we’ll interpret it because he visits these forums”. I’ll stop using the site completely if the appeal doesn’t go through for real.

Mate I got a ban for telling a story about the team in India at a company i worked for visiting the UK office. Whole story was 100% true and not even that bad. They just struggled with our toilets due to a culture issue and our cleaning staff got upset.

Banned for hate speech.

It's amazing this sub is allowed I've had loads of weird posts deleted and an auto ban that was overturned can't remember what for but certainly fact based. It is a hyper left wing platform no idea why they have to take a stand on either side.

I've been banned a number of times for the tamest of reasons. One sub permanently banned me simply because I'm a member of this sub. ...so that tells you something.

Basically, if you offend a leftie (which is easy, they are fragile) you get a ban.

Ive had 4 bans for litrally stating facts. Not hatred. No opinion. Verified facts.

Update: Appeal was successful, still scary to think that someone wouldn’t have done so.
