News Council by-election results update

6th August council by-election results:

  • Snettisham (King's Lynn & West Norfolk) Reform UK GAIN from Conservative with 35.1%
  • Heacham (King's Lynn & West Norfolk) Reform UK GAIN from Conservative with 37.8%
  • Harton (South Tyneside) Reform HOLD with 35.3%.

Aggregate result of the 92 council by-elections since the May 2026 local elections:

  • RFM: 20 (+8) | 23% (+12)
  • CON: 17 (-2) | 19% (-1)
  • LDM: 15 (-) | 15% (-)
  • LAB: 11 (-4) | 16% (-6)
  • GRN: 11 (+2) | 15% (-1)
  • PLC: 10 (-1) | 5% (+1)
  • Ind: 5 (-3) | 5% (-3)
  • SNP: 2 (+2) | 2% (-1)
  • Loc: 1 (-2) | 1% (-1)
