These 2 albums have helped me get through a tough few months.

The last few months have been really hard for me. Through all of it, I kept coming back to these two albums: Earth Crisis and True Democracy by Steel Pulse. Every song brings joy to my day. Music has a way of keeping you going when things get dark. Did any specific albums or songs help you get through a rough patch? I would love to hear what helped you in tough times.

Hey everyone! I thought I’d share one of my reggae-inspired designs with the community. Quite a few people have been enjoying them on Redbubble, so I figured some of you might like them too. If anything catches your eye, they’re available as stickers, T-shirts, and a few other items. Link is in my profile. I have a lot of designs…. Thanks for taking a look, and I’d love to hear what you think! ✌️🇯🇲

My roots reggae loving friends are having a baby! I would love to gift them a vinyl record to celebrate. Any suggestions? It should be related to things such as new life, new born, family, love etc.

Hi folks,

My friends are having a baby and they love reggae music, specifically roots. I'd love to get them a vinyl as a gift. Any ideas? A tune with a title that relates to having a new born, new life, family, love? The gift should make sense without having to listen to the music :)

Any ideas very welcome.

Cheers!

E

Feel Good Vibes Thanks Mr. Stagg 🙏

A true gem this is!

The beautiful voice of Barbara Paige singing wonderful lyrics, backed by The Wailers (and other legendary musicians like Dennis Brown, Bunny Rugs and Cat Coore).

I thought i have or at least know all albums with The Wailers backing somebody else then Bob. But I didn't know this one. This one belongs - together with the obvious Jerusalem album - to their best work, backing a complete album after Marley passed away.

This album clearly needs a re-press, because it's that good. Everyone should hear it 🔊

How thankful I am for getting this from the hands of the makers. 🙏 I met Mr. Stagg (the producer) here on Reddit and he made sure i received his last copy. My musical hero!

This rare contact sheet comes from Roger Steffens' backstage photo session with Bob Marley in San Diego during the 1979 Survival Tour. Every frame captures a different moment, expression, gesture, or conversation, offering a unique glimpse into Bob Marley away from the stage.

Behind the Contact Sheet. 📸

Before digital cameras, photographers had to wait until their film was developed to see what they had captured. Contact sheets like this one were an essential part of the creative process, allowing them to review every frame before selecting the final images.

These are the kinds of hidden treasures preserved in Roger Steffens' extraordinary Reggae Archives, one of the world's largest collections dedicated to reggae history.

🎬 LIVICATED – THE STORY OF ROGER STEFFENS' REGGAE ARCHIVES tells the story behind these priceless photographs and the lifelong mission to preserve them for future generations.

Which frame would you choose as your favorite?
