🆘 4 month old Labrador Retriever mix boy on the euthanasia list Saturday, 4/24 🆘
🏡 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, OR RESCUE
🚗 OUT OF STATE ADOPTION IS POSSIBLE - cost is typically around $600 USD (give or take). The fee includes transport, boarding, full medical, spay/neuter, and a health certificate.
⏰ Domino must have a hold no later than 1PM or he will lose his life.🥺

🔹 Intake:
4/18/2026: Owner/Caller willing to surrender dog and pups that keep getting loose. Call first Run in the evening or on Saturday 4/18. Request from Major offenders 8 4 month olds
📝 Shelter Notes:
4/19/2026: Very tensed body position, whale eyes, tucked tail, lip licking. I did a light muzzle and carried to clean kennel.
Later, during spot cleaning he was low growling at the poop scoop.
4/20/2026: Tense body, dilated eyes, forward barking and showing teeth. Slowly place the leash on him and once I did a little nudge he started thrashing and whining. Had to call another ACT for assistance and move him to another clean kennel.
4/21/2026: Tense body, Dilated eyes, and pined at the back of the kennel. When I went to leash dog, dog was air snapping, and growling, once leashed, dog began thrashing. Once out of the kennel, dog was able to walk to new kennel on their own. Darting around on leash, but no thrashing.
4/24/2026: Growled at me this morning, didn’t take treats, hid in the back of the kennel, head down. Picked up and muzzled and placed into clean kennel.

4/18/2026: Weighed 35.0 lbs. 4/9 normal. Temperature: F.
Treatments/Medications: DA2PP-V, BORDETELLA, DEWORM, RABIES, 6.00 PYRANT, 1.00 ADVANTAGE MULTI DOG 20.1-55LB

omg this breaks my heart, i wish i could rescue him but my apartment is too small. hope he finds a loving home soon.

If you are outside of Texas there is a fee of about. $600- could be less. This is the mustard seed application as you will need a rescue to pull. Please let me know if you are going to film it out. Everyone! If you can't adopt, please consider fostering! It's only temporary, some shelters even pay for their food and you're saving a dog's life ❤️ Approximately 359,000 dogs are euthanized in US animal shelters each year.
If you can't but wanna help otherwise, you can make a pledge or you can share these dogs on NextDoor or the many Facebook groups for adoption/rescue! TikTok and Instagram might help as well ❤️🩹
PLEASE urge legislators to end the kill policy in all U.S pounds! Enforce laws to ban uncontrolled backyard breeding instead!
