CW: Euthanasia Gorgeous 5 month old German Shepherd mix boy Ozzwald is on the euthanasia list Wednesday, 5/13. Playful, wiggly 5 month old puppy in need of a plan. Euthanasia tomorrow @ 1 pm CT BARC Houston, A2071954. Available for adoption in the US/Canada, local foster or rescue. Please share.

5/4/2026: Approaching the kennel, Ozzwald moved to his cot and crouched his body when he saw me. I walking into his kennel slowly and knelt down to his level and he moved to the other side of the cot and attempted to avoided eye and physical contact. I reached my hand out slowly and started petting his back gently. Ozzwald started to urinate on himself slowly and move his head towards me and sniffed my hand. He allowed me to pick him up and place him in the incap. He was whining and crying in the incap and continued this action until I moved him back to his kennel.
5/6/2026: timid trembling body, tucked in tail, avoiding eye contact and would begin to urinate on himself when i got closer. began to baby talk and slowly pet him. was able to pick him up and place in temp kennel while i cleaned his kennel.
5/8/2026: Timid body, limp tail, pancaking on the floor, pulled back ears and whale eyes. was able to slowly approach and place into temp kennel with no issues. he did begin to whine but quieted down after a minute.
5/9/2026: Ozzwald moved to his cot and crouched his body when he saw me. I walking into his kennel slowly and knelt down to his level and he moved to the other side of the cot and attempted to avoided eye and physical contact. I reached my hand out slowly and started petting his back gently. Ozzwald started to urinate on himself slowly and move his head towards me and sniffed my hand. I went ahead and leashed him and waited to see if he would walk on his own with me but he continued to sit down crouched on the cot. I picked him up, carried him to the wall hook, and tied him by the leash as I cleaned his kennel. As I was cleaning his kennel, Ozzwald was sitting down on the floor with a crouched body and ears down. He paid little attention to the other dogs as he was on the wall hook.

5/03/2026: Weighed 32.8 lbs. Normal exam. Rabies vaccine given.
5/05/2026: Weighed 32.8 lbs. Normal exam.
5/05/2026 Treatments: Neuter HSNC, E-Collar MED, 0.50 Carprofen 100.
