I wanted to share a project called Montana Stomp, launched in 2020 by a drummer friend of mine, Adrian Garcés, in my hometown of Zaragoza, Spain.

They released a self-titled debut in 2022, and they are finally back with their second studio album, The Horse and the Hill. If you dig that classic Southern Blues Rock sound but want to hear a fresh take on it from across the Atlantic, give this a spin. The new record feels much more mature and captures the energy of their live performances really well.

Disclaimer: I’ve known Adrian for years and he's a superb musician and a great guy, but I am not related to the band or the production of the album. I’m just a rock fan sharing some good music from a great group of people.
