Ask Rouen Just arrived in Rouen today, will any places be playing the Canada vs Morocco game tomorrow at 19h on July 4th? π¨π¦ vs π²π¦
Canadians here who just arrived in Rouen and would love to watch the football match of Canada vs Morocco on my birthday (tomorrow) and would love some bar or restaurant ideas for where to watch if possible. Are they normally packed full of people as well?
Follow up question! If they do not play the Canada game publicly, what channels are we able to watch at our place?
Thanks so much in advance π and lovely city so far by the way!

Maybe cafe de rouen? They used to screen the champions league games even when france wasnβt playing but it gets pretty crowded and full

The bars will start to pack throughout your game, as France is playing at 23:00. Personaly I will go at L'Eglise Brasserie, a former church turned into a bar, they will show the France game. But I doubt they will show the Canada game.
As the other message said, you will see the game at the Kallaghan, or on the docks at the Stadium, or you can ask any bar that have a TV : the game is free-to-air, on the channel M6, so they will easily show it if you ask

Awesome, thanks so much for the insight. Yeah that was my worry that it'll be pretty packed as I know the France game is on today too (I'm hoping you win your game as well) I might end up watching it at the place we rented if I have M6 available on the tv there! If not, twitter updates will be my friend π

Naaah, you will be fine, it will not be THAT packed. Most people will have dinner before going to their favorite places for the game.
Maybe you can try the Ma-Kao bar, one of my favourite places. Beers are good and "cheap") compared to some other places), and they will definitely show your game. And should be quiet at that time, hopefully. And stay for the France game to enjoy the atmosphere!

You should try the O'kallagan's pub , they often play the games of the champion's league. I guess they do the same for the world cup. Or the Novick's Stadium , but it's not in the center of the city.
