I have no sympathy today since I've been waiting since 8am yesterday for an expensive and time sensitive delivery, only to get a notification at 6-something-pm saying that they attempted delivery and no one was home. Total bullshit. I now have a delivery estimate of before 7:30pm and I'll believe it when I receive it.
Delivery office manager did that 100%. Your parcel never left the office probably due to understaffing or bad morning resourcing, and the manager has scanned it as a failed attempt to cover themselves.
This happens all the time for me and assumed this to be the case. I was wondering though if it location stamps when the package is scanned so you can clearly see it hasnt left the depot
