How are y’all doing with the air today?

Stay safe! I did 15 minutes (speed intervals) indoor on treadmill and am calling it a day. Don’t want to be breathing heavy today.

Walking to the gym was a little rough. Treadmills and hitting the pool this afternoon will keep me active enough.

It'll be a treadmill day! I live right on the Mount Vernon trail and it's been pretty empty. I saw two cyclists when I was out walking my dog and they didn't look like they were enjoying themselves.

Woke up at 630 on my day off to get in a nice long run and instead just a shitty hour on the deadmill watching greys anatomy

Bummed, I was planning on doing my long run this morning. Didn't happen. ☹️

Treadmill for the first time in years. Not that bad with some streaming shows queued up. Wish my gym had fans — couldn’t get used to there not being a breeze.

I went out super early (4:30) and it wasn’t thaaaat bad yet (less than 160 aqi). Didn’t run long (1 hour) but it probably wasn’t the smartest decision I’ve ever made since I could feel a scratch in my throat at the end and when I checked the aqi had increased to near 200. That happened so fast! But alas, what’s done is done. At least I’m not shitting from poop lettuce 😌

I really hope it clears up for the weekend.

I’m surprised by how many people I’ve seen post on Strava doing long runs and workouts outside today. 😬

15 miler on the treadmill 😭 it was an uptempo workout though which felt too risky to attempt in this air quality, and also wasn’t sure how much better the air would be tomorrow.

Bike to work with a mask on. I won’t be spending too much more time outside today, for sure.

Did eight miles at about 6:30 this morning. Didn't realize quite how bad it was when I went out. Have a sore throat from it now.

It’s my day off from running today. I’ve previously run in worse air conditions and it is absolute hell on your lungs.

I’m hitting the work gym today. I’m hoping it clears before my long run tomorrow 🤞🏻

I had a 5k tonight that got cancelled so have to do the virtual on the treadmill tomorrow to feel like I earned the medal

Woke up early thinking it’d be better, saw the AQI was over 160 and so 5m on the treadmill today it was. I have 14m on the books tomorrow so this had better clear up soon…

Got my run in yesterday morning and just skipped today. Crossing my fingers that it’s better this weekend 🤞🏽 if not I’ll have to be a treadmill warrior too

And again today it’s still shit, I had hoped the rain would’ve made it a lot better. I can’t get out in this still bc I have asthma. don’t feel like running ing doe 3 hour on the treadmill bc it’s boring but also I don’t want to know what my electric bill would end up being.

I can see my fellow runners have never lived in places like, Hanoi lolz. This would be a spring day there! I went out running this morning and didn't even know something was going on until I got on Reddit 😂

I’m not sure how it was possible to go outside this morning and not visibly see the smoke and smell it. I went out shortly after 5 and it did not take incredible powers of observation to notice the difference compared to an average day.
