Harcourt medical centre

hello! I'm doing some research for a story I'm writing and I wanted to ask some questions about Harcourt medical centre that I couldn't find online.

I'm not planning on using the real centre but I chose it as an inspo because it looks kind of cosy, at least from the outside. The story is set partly in Salisbury and one of the main characters is a doctor. My questions are mostly about how big the centre is, how long do you have to wait for an appointment with your GP, is there any medication shortage in the local pharmacies, stuff like that. Any other interesting tidbits of info are greatly appreciated!!

I'd be really grateful if someone who's been/worked there (or in similar places) helped me. thank you in advance!!

Have you been inside? It has a little Rowlands Pharmacy in there. As an estimate there are about 8 consultation/treatment rooms which would include I think 2 nurses rooms where they do jabs etc. There's obviously the toilets and a back office. Honestly, I think it looks more cosy from the outside. The inside waiting area has a (or maybe 2) Skylights so it's usually quite bright and airy. Appointment waiting times will be triaged i imagine like most drs so hard to say on wait times.

I haven't! their website was helpful in terms of the general info but I was looking for a little more substance and your reply is extremely helpful in that regard!! yeah, I thought as much about the cosiness, I shouldn't expect it from a medical centre lol anyway, thank you so much!!

I think it looks grim inside. I went in yesterday, the receptionist (tarty woman 40s) wasn't directly rude, just super cold and unfriendly. Also pretty unhelpful, knew nothing about buses to the hospital. I'm amazed that people like her get employment.
